this place was great. Lauren and Jimmy had a bunch of good info on the fishing out on the lake and the boat dock was awesome to have. very friendly and the back deck was great to hang out on. would certainly stay here again next year

Was a great place to stay. Very comfortable and homey and clean inside with very nice river view. Shawn was very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend for anyone who likes staying on the river. Was too early in the season to go out on the kayaks but would definitely go back later on in the season.

Centrally located between Oneanta and Cooperstown. House was peaceful, beds were super comfy, and the views from bedroom and porch/ second bedroom were lovely. If it was warmer, we would have been out on that water! Highly recommend!

Brianna is a wonderful host, very friendly, always available and ready to help in anything we may need. The house is like a Dream House. Lovely living room with a fireplace, TV and a big and comfy sofa. Every room in the house was excellently decorated with a high test and good sense of space making you feel warm and welcome, like your own home. The surroundings are so beautiful that you even have a river running in the backyard. Like fairytale stories. The most amazing thing is the Kitchen fully equipped with seasonings, coffee, tea and beautiful crockery and pot sets. Everything you may need for a memorable vacation is here! We loved this place and definitely we're going to come back. Thank you very much Brianna, you're amazing!

This is a place you would want to come back over and over again. So serene and relaxing place, Perfect for the whole family!The moment you walk in ,you will fall in love with it. We totally loved Mexi’s place. It was super relaxing and restful for us. It was so comfortable, it felt like home. Mexi is very easy to communicate with which made it nice. Thanks, Mexi! And… Mexi had everything you might need on your visit away… from blow dryer and straightener, to shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and much more. One spot we really liked a lot was the porch. So peaceful. You won’t be disappointed. We would come back.

Beautiful little cabin on the lake. very comfortable and honestly, it was nice knowing the owners were in the main house, it was a gathering of ladies and we felt very safe and secure without feeling "watched" at all. Would definitely recommend!

The lakeside cottage is right on the lake with a beautiful view. The deck is large and peaceful place to enjoy the nature around you. The cottage is cozy and has most everything you need.

We had a very peaceful stay at Sleepy Loon cottage. Enjoyed the quietness and saw lots of loons, geese, ducks and even saw a beaver. It was cold and windy so didn't get to use kayaks as planned but still had a great time. Lori and Mark were great hosts. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place this is it! The cottage is exactly as pictured.

The “Sunset Cottage” felt like a cozy home away from home. An extraordinary lake view from the bay window was the perfect center piece for this modest, quaint escape. Carol and Pete are extremely personable and caring. Their hospitality made this trip a breeze. I highly recommend them and this AirBnB.

Simply spectacular. This cabin and the property is beautiful. We had an amazing weekend stay and enjoyed every moment. The fall foliage was breathtaking and kayaking on Lake Pleasant was so fun. The cabin has everything you need for a well equipped and cozy stay. Lots of games and what a nice treat to have the s’mores and starter basket of coffee, tea, & hot cocoa. We can’t wait to come back and spend more time at this slice of paradise.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. We kayaked up the river and saw beavers and lots of birds. the amenities were great. very cute cabin with a fantastic view

I've stayed at a couple dozen AirBnB's over the years, but this most recent one, Jacqui's place on Spruce Lake, goes right to the top of my list of best AirBnB experiences. It has an amazing location, is wonderfully designed and decorated, pristinely clean and functional, but most of all, it has an indefinably cozy and peaceful vibe. A lovely retreat from the world, and a great place to hang out in front of a roaring fire ( it has a truly magnificent fireplace) with loved ones.

The cabin was a cozy place to stay. We loved ADK design. Had a great time.

Great space. Great view of the lake. We stayed on a rainy April weekend so we didn’t get a full feel of the area, but the boathouse was clean and cozy, and we enjoyed our time. Got to hear a loon on Saturday morning - a rare treat for us. Christine was a great host. All instructions were clear and communicated in a timely manner. We didn’t need much while we were there, but she got back to us quickly when we did. One thing to note is the tap water (presumably well?) has a taste to it we didn’t like, but Christine left some bottled water in the fridge to get us started (and some muffins 🥰 - thank you!) and we picked up some more to keep us going. Not really a problem, but just a heads up for future guests.

We had such a nice stay at Creekside Cabin! The home is lovely, clean and cozy. They thought of everything to make their guests feel more at home and it was hard to say goodbye. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a private stay with easy access to nearby locations. We look forward to staying again in the future!

We had a fabulous long weekend at Shasta’s place. Our family loves the outdoors and the location couldn’t have been better. It is right on Garnet Hill XC ski and snowshoe trails. Garnet Hill has been a favorite of our for years and so discovering this house was a gem of a find. It is also super close to Gore for some great downhill skiing and great snowshoe trails are also close. It is also super quiet being away from roads and other houses. We enjoyed cuddling up in front of the fire and playing games in the evening. We’re definitely planning to try to come back in the future!
