Our status at Ivica’s apartment was fantastic. The location is great - away from the chaos of Dubrovnik but with easy access by car. We loved the view and the easy walk to the beach. The space was perfect for our group of 8, and we really appreciated that each room had its own en-suite bathroom. Ivica was helpful with recommendations for parking near the old town and was always responsive and kind. We would highly recommend this spot and would definitely come again!

The villa was exactly as described, the photos are accurate. The living space is roomy, with a beautiful outlook across water and islands. We lunched and sunbathed on the large patio (a major plus on sunny days) and picnicked on the stone shelves by the water. And occasionally swam in the crystal clear water. Car hire is an imperative for local travel but the directions were clear and the drive into Dubrovnik Old Town is perhaps 15 minutes. For us, three days was enough to explore the Old Town so we spent a lot of time relaxing, reading, sunning and sleeping. And pottering around the local area. There were a few bad-weather days but it didn't matter - we lit a fire, caught up on our box sets and watched the ever-changing scenery. The local town (Mokosica) has supermarkets and bakeries, it's a few minutes by car. Any questions we had were dealt with immediately, efficiently, effectively and very courteously. We spent two weeks in Jana's place, and enjoyed every day.

We stayed here as a family of 7, 3 generations and it was fabulous! Everyone had a lovely time, the pool is incredible and the kids spent hours in there everyday! The view from the villa is spectacular and the surroundings are just idyllic! The host and her family were amazing giving enough information without being intrusive and we even had a delicious cake made for us! Thank you for an wonderful stay!

The photographs do not do this house justice - it’s fantastic. Big, very well equipped kitchen and large open plan lounge diner. All bedrooms have big en-suites and an extra bathroom and toilet downstairs (with a sauna thrown in for good measure!). The house was spotlessly clean and the fridge had been stocked with a welcome pack. Air conditioning in all rooms. Branka (the housekeeper) was fantastic - super efficient and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Her home made muffins were also absolutely delicious! Pool and outside space was great with plenty of shaded areas and pool towels provided. Location was great, literally across the road from the beach with water sport activities nearby. There are 6-7 restaurants/bars within a short walking distance. It’s about 45 minutes to Dubrovnik by car or bus, and there’s a local boat trip available too from Slano. Ivona (the host) was also very responsive and friendly. All in all, outstanding!

Très joli maison villageoise rénovée avec goût et très bien équipée. L’endroit est très calme et la terrasse dispose d’une magnifique vue sur la mer et les îles. Comme souvent en Croatie, le village est tout en pente et la maison est assez loin de la plage, mais deux vélos sont à disposition pour ceux qui savent monter les pentes. Nous recommandons a tous ceux qui aiment le calme et sont motorisés.

Wowowow this place is incredible. We stayed as a group of 8, 4 couples and each felt like we had our own private areas & bathrooms. The view from the apartment is seriously beautiful. Even staying out of season we were able to try out the best local restaurants & have a boat day which was just amazing! Big thank you to Maja, Petra and Toni our skipper!! Spacious villa, super clean and well stocked. Great location, close to supermarket and amazing view. Host was super responsive and friendly. Gave great recommendations for restaurants and bars. Easy check in and check out. 5 stars!!!

Die Unterkunft ist einfach perfekt gewesen. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Es hat uns an nichts gemangelt. Es hat alles funktioniert und die Kommunikation mit den Managern war einfach und schnell. Unser Aufenthalt war traumhaft und wir würden 100% wieder zurückkehren. Der Meereszugang und die großen Zimmer mit Klimaanlage sind ein Gamechanger. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und die Entfernung zu Dubrovnik sehr gering. Mit Uber kann man schnell und relativ günstig hinkommen.

Maison exceptionnelle avec une vue à couper le souffle. Il y a effectivement beaucoup d’escalier (équivalent de 8 niveaux entre le parking et le plus haut) mais l’essentiel de l’activité se passe en bas. Il faut juste prendre son élan pour monter à la piscine.

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve dans le logement de Maro et ses parents. Il dispose de tous les equipements nécessaires et les parties extérieurs sont juste incroyables avec l'accès privé a la mer ! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommandons ce logement !!!

We had a lovley time in villa schola . Our family loved the pool area ..the weather wasn't the best so we only used the pool on a few days . We used the outside eating area for breakfast most mornings and cooked on the BBQ for dinner on one night .

We really enjoyed our stay! - lovely pool & BBQ area - beautiful sea view from everywhere in the house - great location for exploring, best with a car but you can get a bus or Uber to Dubrovnik - Filipa was very responsive and sent us some great recommendations - very nice beaches and swimming spots nearby

Vi hadde en nydelig ferie i Slano. Nydelig og fredlig. Vi reiste 14 personer. Barn og vokse. Perfekt for store og små. Vi oppholdt oss mye i huset, men dro noen turer inn til Slano sentrum og Dubrovnik. Kommer gjerne tilbake!

Villa Planika was superb. The accommodation space and the terrace, pool and sea access were extremely appreciated. Everything was exactly as per description and photos. The villa is located in a quiet area of the coast north east of Dubrovnik, but within an easy drive to the main busy areas. We found plenty of beach coves, restaurants and retreats to visit. Our hosts Tereza and Ivica were friendly and very responsive to our needs - particularly the flexible check-in and check-out which was highly appreciated with our flight logistics. They really helped with ideas of places to visit, but also attentive for the villa - the apple strudel was a real hit with the whole family. We were a family of four with kids aged 3 and 10, who both really enjoyed the spacious areas to play in, and climbing over the rocks by the sea. And of course the hammock and swing chair! We will return when the weather is slightly warmer and less windy!, but otherwise we had a wonderful trip. Thank you.

We had a lovely 5 night stay at the villa which suited our needs. Zoran was very helpful and check in and out was very easy. Near to the bay and a Great base to explore the local Areas would highly recommend

This villa is hugely undersold - it's absolutely amazing. So many beautiful outdoor options, from an undercover barbecue area to various terraces and balconies, and of course the lovely pool. The entire space was so clean we felt like the first people to be there. Communication was brilliant and we much appreciated the clear arrival instructions and the recommendations for local restaurants. We were a family of two adults and two children and we all loved it here. Superb views, lots of space for us all.

We absolutely loved the place, and the kids had the time of their lives. We got into a lovely routine of relaxing on the balcony in the evening, enjoying the fantastic view. Our fantastic hosts recommended a restaurant on walking distance which turned out to be the most excellent and luxurious experience of the whole week. The villa did exceed our expectations and — certainly the gym did so. After just a couple of days we wished we had booked two weeks to begin with, instead of one. Thank you so much, we hope to come back in a year or so!

When we first arrived we were slightly concerned by the smallish rooms, separate apartments and view spoilt marginally by telelphone cables. But honestly , as we stayed longer at the villa it was perfect. You can walk to the baker at the bottom of the hill for daily breakfast. The villa is clean and tidy and modern albeit the cupboard space and bathrooms are small but modern. Marko was a lovely host and gave us fresh meat and cheese. Our best day was the boat trip to the islands, swimming in caves, cliff jumping and a lovely seaside lunch in Lopud. You can pay for hotel facilities at the bottom of the hill (5 min walk) - tennis, badminton, jet skiing, beach and restaurants which are all fabulous. We didn’t hire a car and used Uber which isn’t the easiest but doable. Restaurants in Zaton were lovely. You cannot get bored of the amazing view from the outside area with a lovely salt water pool and loungers with unspoilt views to the islands and passing boats. Highly recommended stay!

The house was fantastic. The host was flexible with our check in and met us at the property-could not have been nicer. It is very close to several beach clubs and has a gorgeous view of the bridge. Its about 15 minutes in to old town which we appreciated. It was nice to be at the beach where it was cooler and close to Old Town. It’s very clean and spacious and worked well for our family. Would definitely stay here again. As the house is owned by a hotel they were also helpful with arranging transportation (this is important as Ubers frequently cancel and you don’t want to miss your flight) and stowing bags. Nearby- We spent time at Coral Bay Beach Club (5 star/great food and atmosphere) and Copacabana Beach Club (3.5 star- does have a blow up aquatic play area for kids-meh food). There’s also a chill beach bar next door and a public beach in front of the property.

The property is exactly as pictured and was immaculately clean. We were provided with a selection of fruit and other essentials including beer and wine on arrival which was much appreciated. We loved using the pool which was cleaned by the owner part way through our stay. Ivan greeted us on arrival and provided advice on visiting Dubrovnik and other day trips. Zaton has a good selection of restaurants around the waterfront which is a 10 minute walk - we would definitely recommend Kasar. Zaton is 15 minutes from Dubrovnik and, although we had a car, we took an Uber rather than trying to park (which is expensive). If we were coming back to Dubrovnik then we would happily stay here again.

Best villa and stay, the hosts are lovely and so accommodating! Would come back, everyone in our group loved it!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Tamara avec nos 3 grands enfants 19, 16 et 15 ans. Nous avons été bien accueillis avec visite de la maison par Tamara, des conseils pour visiter la région. Et des petits présents de bienvenue. La maison est conforme à la description. La piscine est juste magnifique avec un petit coin détente. La literie top. Bref c est le top à 100%. On a envie d y revenir.
