Elegant & inviting, this room defined by a dramatic archway that separates 2 distinct living spaces: a high-top near the wet bar + sitting area at the foot of the bed. The corner windows offer one of the best perspectives in KC. All 8 guest rooms have private bedrooms & bathrooms. Heads up: our lobby bar is open most Wed–Sat, with quiet hours starting at 1 AM. Not ideal for light sleepers! There’s no TV, and our linens lean crisp over cushy, thanks to the commercial sanitizing service we use.

Southmoreland is a historic 1913 Mansion whose goal is to provide hospitality and comfort. It is conveniently located in the heart of Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza. Named after past historical guest Sally Rand ( 1904 – 1979) who was an American burlesque dancer and Silver Screen star, most noted for her ostrich feather fan dance and balloon bubble dance.

“Camp Rockwood”at Rockwood Motor Court on Route 66

Rockwood Motor Court, on historic Route 66, was built in 1929. Each room is themed and furnished to the era of Route 66. Camp Rockwood pays homage to the important history of motor courts along the road. It is decorated with historic photos of Rockwood and other courts and motels. Newly renovated in 2019, you’ll enjoy clean and comfortable room amenities while experiencing authentic motor court lodging. Need more space? We have larger rooms or can package multiple rooms for your group.

Blue Spruce Room Queen Bed at BnB in CWE!

A Lovely room in a historical St. Louis home! The Blue Spruce Room is on the 2nd floor, and has a recently renovated and beautiful bathroom complete with a walk-in rain shower right next to it. The room has a desk, chair, lamp, table, Amazon Fire TV with basically every major streaming App, newly installed hardwood floors, and a Queen sized-bed. The room has two large windows for plenty of natural light with heavy blinds for sleeping in! Full use of the kitchen upstairs is available!

The Woodsman Suite

A third floor suite, facing the river with the train tracks only a couple blocks away. It took 2 months to do the ceiling. Carefully polished and placed the old lath in a specific design, the ceiling is a work of art. Eighty percent of the material used in this room is from re purposed lumber, either from this building or from a childhood barn built in the late 1800's. It will take you a while to notice every detail down to the toilet paper holder which is from an old barn post.

Each room is designed with elegant 1800s décor, offering a unique step back in time. Suites include a full-size bed, a spacious seating area, a private bath, and modern amenities such as YouTube TV, Amazon Prime, a mini refrigerator, a coffee maker, and more.

Culture Boutique Hotel: Casablanca Suite

Our loft-like suites feature furniture made from reclaimed materials from our building, a converted mattress factory. Each suite is inspired by a city in Eurasia. The rooms boast high ceilings, a 39in tv, a refrigerator, microwave and a V60, Electric Kettle, + complimentary coffee from Eurasia Coffee Co. This room (Casablanca) boasts a jacuzzi and separate shower.
