Terri's place exceeded our expectations. She was gracious and kind. The home felt familiar and comfortable, like that of family. You could feel the warmth and love of memories made over generations in this farmhouse. Everything was clean, well arranged and organized. My husband and I took this trip during my sons swim meet in Cleveland, MS. We were extremely surprised at how amazing the bed and breakfast met our needs. It far exceeded our expectations. Thishya and her husband OP were exceptional host. They attending to our every need. The breakfast every morning was made fresh with the most amazing vegetables and fruit, to also include fresh coffee and amazing teas with special ginger treats on the side. We were made to feel extremely special each and every day. We spent time visiting and getting to know each other and were also given plenty of space to enjoy time on our own. They made sure that we knew the best places to eat and opportunities to enjoy the holiday presentations around town. They truly made our stay a beautiful experience. We will 100% be back to stay. We feel as though we have made friends for life and now have a new home away from home. We are so grateful to have found this little slice of paradise.

I had the pleasure of returning to Peacock at the Delta and I cannot recommend it enough! The location is absolutely stunning—nestled in a picturesque setting, surrounded by beauty of nature on full display. Being situated on a farm, I was delighted to experience the charm of rural life and even catch glimpses of the local wildlife. It’s a true haven for anyone seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The serene and peaceful surroundings were nothing short of magical, allowing me to unwind and recharge amidst the tranquility. It felt like I had found my own little slice of paradise, far removed from noise and distraction. The accommodations themselves were incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully maintained, ensuring a cozy and relaxing stay. What set this experience apart was the host’s warm and welcoming demeanor that made us feel at home. Whether you are looking for a peaceful retreat or unique experience connecting w/nature this is the perfect destination.

We had stayed in Pam's guest house 2 other times, but this was our first time in the guest suite. We liked how roomy it was, but also comfortable. While you enter through Pam's front door, the guest suite is completely private. We had access to Pam's kitchen, though we did not cook anything there. I appreciated that she kept her dogs separate from our 2 tiny dogs. Pam is a wonderful host and I recommend either of her accommodations if you are in the area. One caveat, if you are short, you may need a step stool to get up on one of the beds - it was very high!

Jerry and Judy's place was a wonderful stay! They were so hospitable and offered us anything they could to make sure we were comfortable during our stay--and Judy made us the best sweet tea! We were not personally in the home much during our trip, but Jerry always made sure to be home to let us in whenever we needed (despite our late nights!!). Such sweet people, I wish we could've had a little more time to get to know them better!

Staying at Jeremy's home was a great experience! We were back in Hattiesburg for a wedding, and this house was perfect in terms of location and comfort. It was great for a bigger group and very relaxing. We loved spending time on the porch and looking at the baby goats. The house had a very warm and welcoming feel. Would highly recommend it!

I was in the area which is very rural for a retriever hunt test and needed a comfortable and safe place to stay. Motels are scarce and not very appealing that are there. This is an old farmhouse which I love that was perfect for my needs. Great place to air the dogs. Very private and I was staying alone but felt very safe and secure. There are no restaurants near so bring food in. My hosts left me a dozen farm fresh eggs to use as well! Kitchen is well equipped for a rental. It suddenly turned cold and they even had the heat on for me so that it would be warm when I arrived. As in any older home there are not as many electrical outlets so take a multiple outlet with you and a short extension cord . I always travel with one. There is one there in one of the bedrooms as well. My bed was very comfortable. I will probably be back in the area for another event and definitely plan to stay again if so.

Debbe was great even when we had a pipe burst from the cold weather. I wish there was wifi at the house. To be clear, wifi was never advertised. It was an oversight on my part for not verifying.

I love staying at her house, it’s a pretty peaceful place to stay. Love the country living!

We were a group of 6 elderly women traveling up the Natchez Trace Parkway. We enjoyed our one night stay...it was like walking into a magazine setting but very user friendly. The inside and outside was well maintained and so peaceful and relaxing. Everything you needed was furnished in kitchen(except the food you eat) and bathrooms. We wished we had booked it for more than 1 night. We are had an absolutely wonderful stay. Thanks

It’s a peaceful place in the bayou. Tom was a great host. If I’m in the area again, I’d absolutely stay again. If you’re looking for a high end kitchen go elsewhere. Appliances are old but all were clean and worked perfectly. Well stocked with spices and cooking supplies. Sheets were so soft and the ac was cold. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. And was so happy to let my pup get some off leash time. Thanks Tom!

Rena’s space was so beautiful and honey! It looked just like the photos! The space was clean and Rena gave clear instructions about getting inside and how to find it! It was so amazing getting to watch her episode on Home Town and then stay in her house the next night! The surrounding area was so peaceful!

We enjoyed the quiet, rural surroundings. The house has a ton of character and much effort has been put into making it modern while maintaining the historical aspects which make it very unique. Bobbie and Haskell were very helpful providing directions for two cyclists, coming off the Trace Parkway, who didn't want to ride the busy highway. Wish we had more time to spend and explore. We hope to come back sometime down the road.

This is a nice home in a peaceful neighborhood. The hosts respond to messages very quickly. We highly recommend this home if you find yourself traveling through or to Tupelo.

I really enjoyed my time here. It was the perfect week to reset and take in nature. My dog Arrow and I really had a great time. We loved the property. Chris was a fantastic and super nice host. I really look forward to returning in the future!!

Quiet stay just outside of Indianola, with easy access to great food. Hosts were extraordinarily friendly and helpful, and the farm itself is absolutely lovely. Would gladly return for my next Blues Trail adventure!

My husband and I had a wonderful birthday getaway weekend at the Gatehouse. This was the perfect place for us to unwind and the home is like a picture in a magazine. The inside had modern touches mixed in with antique nods to the gate House's history on the Douglas farm. We lacked for nothing, all the switches and little things that sometimes are hard to figure out when staying at a new place were noted, and there was helpful instructions and local recommendations there at the ready. Heidi is a wonderful host, she is warm and friendly and easy to talk to as she checked in to make sure we had everything we needed once we got settled. This is the perfect location because you can be at the Oxford square in about 10 minutes or so and soak up all the energy there and then come back to this beautiful place so it was the perfect balance for us. Heidi has thought of everything there at the home you could need, especially for dogs which was so appreciated. We will definitely be back!

We loved that my family could stay together while visiting extended family in MS. Beautiful home and very well maintained. The ‘wet room’ bath and shower was a lovely surprise! Water pressure and how quickly the water heated was amazing! We will definitely book again! Dora and Stephanie were extremely helpful and responsive!
