Monte Nido Retreat, minutes to Malibu/Pepperdine

Monte Nido is nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains between Calabasas and Malibu, 5 minutes away from Pepperdine University in Malibu. You can walk to the Backbone trail head from our yard. The guest house has a private entrance, full kitchen, bath and french doors that open up to a private patio with a fountain. There is also a private deck for star gazing and afternoon naps. Perfect for hiking, biking, surfing, and relaxation. There are no streetlights or sidewalks. It is truly paradise.

We are in a rural, quiet area close to Pepperdine University, Point Dume, Zuma Beach, City Center, Restaurants and Dining. You can surf, hike, visit local wineries, or just chill and enjoy the ambiance and natural landscape. You can inquire about your furry friends (pets - extra fee). Petite Retreat; Artist Studio

Our detached Spanish-style artist’s studio is within a 3 to 15 minute walk of all the best restaurants and shops in the lower Village of Montecito. It is an easy four block walk from the patio to beautiful Butterfly Beach. It is cozy, private and has a fabulous, hot, outside shower ! (Note; this shower is the only shower for the studio). Gaze at the stars while rinsing off the sand ! The studio space is small, and cozy, warm radiant concrete floors can be turned on in the chillier months.

Sweet 1 is in the heart of downtown Ojai~ walking distance to restaurants, trails, breweries, shopping, spas + more. It is a free standing casita on a property with other structures but Sweet 1 is separate and private once you enter through the wooden gate. Our guest love the private patio & unique bathroom! No kitchen, just micro, refrig, coffee, etc

Cozy Stone Cottage

Our property is a collection of former out-buildings for the Glendessary Manor estate of poet and composer, Robert Cameron Rogers. The Cozy Stone Cottage was originally a pump house for the beautiful water tower which you can see from the front garden. You’ll love its rustic atmosphere and the warm cozy feeling of The Stone Cottage, separate bedroom, small gas fireplace stove, and sweet patio to sit and relax or eat a meal. Come enjoy this wonderful retreat!

The Vista, "in a tiny experience." Enjoy a relaxing stay in a tranquil location with a nice view above the 200 vine vineyard. Listen to the sounds of birds. Includes a full kitchen, bathroom, queen bed located in the loft (you must go up narrow steep steps,) convection oven/microwave, induction range, air conditioner, heater, desk, indoor and outdoor shower, and quaint patio. Very fast WIFI. The home has both an indoor and outdoor shower.
