The Hilltop House is located less than a half mile from the Devil Anse trailhead and under 1 mile from downtown Matewan WV. This beautifully remodeled home (2023) is designed for riders that want more from where they stay, The Hilltop house has great privacy and beautiful views in addition to being packed with features both inside and out. This home is designed for a maximum of 6 guests, please do not book if you have more than 6 in your party without hosts prior approval.

Private parking with a 30ft walking bridge overlooking a water stream to lead you to the cottage. Queen bedroom downstairs; spiral staircase takes you to your loft queen bedroom; one full bath; full kitchen; TV/WIFI; indoor loft hammock; wrap around covered porch; tree covered outdoor shower area with hot tub; covered dining back porch. With a beautiful view of the river you can spend your evenings fishing. ( With our home being on the river we take every precaution for insects but some are out of control.). They are harmless. Sometimes bettles depending on time of year.
