The area offers many hiking opportunities, too, including the Appalachian Trail, Baxter Park, and Mt. Katahdin. Kayaking, fishing, and bird-watching available right from the yard, and swimming, moose tours, rafting, hunting, and snowmobiling are also nearby! The host, a state-registered Master Guide, is able to issue hunting/fishing licenses on-site (see "Other" heading).

Enjoy this 2 bedroom, with queen beds, 3 tvs, wifi and a washer and dryer. Arrive with your ATV or snowmobile and leave from here without ever having to trailer anywhere. If you are in the area to visit Baxter State Park we are a short drive to the park entrance. Explore the remote woods and come back to all the amenities you will need with a fully stocked kitchen and all full size appliances. If your pet is traveling with we we have a fully fenced in back lawn with a patio set.

Upta Camp

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Take a hike down one of the trails out back, or swim in the cool clear water of the spring fed pond off the back porch. Cozy up during a storm by the fire with a good book, or wet a line on a clear morning off the back steps and catch supper! It’s all in one comfy cabin property to get away from it all. Only a few miles to Dover-Foxcroft, or Sebec Lake. Far enough away to get away, but close enough to the amenities and sights.

Key pad access. *We are no longer accepting pets. Private drive long enough for snowmobile trailer and vehicle(s) This is a quiet residential street.

Windy Point Cottage on Ambajejus Lake

Windy Point Cottage is a full amenity waterfront cottage. Located on Ambajejus Lake, we are only 8 miles outside of Millinocket and about 15 to Baxter State Park. Enjoy the use of our beach and kayaks and then relax on the wrap around deck and watch our amazing sunsets. We also have a fire pit/wood for those nights of sitting around a fire telling stories and creating memories. A gas grill and picnic table are also on premises as well as a screened gazebo.
