We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rick and Christi's Airbnb. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway, with direct access to the beautiful sandy beaches of Chesapeake Bay. Whether you’re into water activities, fishing, or just taking quiet walks around the serene neighborhood, this place has it all. One thing to note is that this spot is not for those seeking nearby restaurants or bars because there aren’t any in the vicinity—and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our family, including my wife and 14-year-old child, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. But what truly sets this place apart is the warm and friendly hospitality from Christi. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A lovely touch was the fresh jalapeño pepper she gave us, which we’re still using in our meals. Thank you, Christi and Rick, for making our vacation memorable.

This was our third stay at Clifton, so we and our 2 dogs obviously like staying there. The location is perfect for getting around Matthews as we continue to explore that part of the region. Very nice stay and we look forward to coming back. Bart and Sharon Cameron November 2024

Everything was wonderful, beautiful home and spacious. I met Allen when I pulled up and he told me about the home how it was 100 years old and how I used to be several places. and Adam help me with the lock and everything went smooth. Even when the siren went off at 4:50am on Sunday and starting me out the bed there was still a peace and calm lol. The area is beautiful and I would recommend.

Erin’s place was the getaway that we definitely needed. We spent our time enjoying the sunsets (stunning pastel colors across the water), watching movies, cooking together, and had a nice meal at a local diner, too (which was recommended in the listing)! The place was so clean, well equipped, and very homey/comfortable. Being situated right on the beach, where in the mornings you can see all of the bay from the windows in the living room and kitchen. Erin was so personable and responsive which we so appreciated. She gave all the information you could need about not just the AirBnB, but the surroundings as well. We felt right at home. They have wonderful neighbors who we met on the beach one of the evenings. Everyone was just so friendly. They were enjoying a beach fire and we talked for a while about how amazing the area is. We have already decided we absolutely will be staying here again! This is the best kept secret quiet beach hideaway! My partner and I LOVED it!

This apartment is very comfortable, clean and private. It is attached to the main house by a breezeway but the entrance is on the side so very private. You have access to the entire yard which is beautifully maintained with flowers and many bushes trees and plants. We enjoyed the deck a lot and although the house isn’t on the water you still have a nice view of the water. TV is super host and very friendly and easy to talk to. He gave us extra treats that we enjoyed and appreciated. Thank you! And we would definitely love to come back next time we are able to get away.

Excellent host and excellent location! I am from Gloucester and came back to help my Father on his land. Soooo nice to be so close, great for our service dog, and such great surroundings! Apartment was extremely clean, well stocked with basics like washer/dryer and soap, extra toothpaste, etc. Loved it!!!

The home was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely stay here again! Grace was super quick to respond to any questions and the sauna was amazing!! I highly recommend booking here!

My absolute favorite airbnb ever ! This was the 3rd time I've stayed here, and if I could afford it, I'd go monthly. The location is perfect, right on the water, small private beach, lots of privacy and soooo incredibly relaxing. The house is very well laid out, super clean and comfortable. Keri provides more than most hosts, from the kitchen and bathrooms, to beach gear, movies, books, games, and the kayaks ! I love love love this house and location so very much. It feels like "my" home away from home and I'll continue to go back as much as possible. THANK YOU again Keri, for another amazing getaway !

We had an incredible stay here for three nights. The high-end kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for preparing meals at home. The beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax and recharge each night. The true highlight was the private beach—quiet and just steps from the house. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. Highly recommend if you're looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway!

My friends and I had a wonderful long weekend at the Deltaville Blue Cottage. The house perfectly showcased the views, fresh breezes, and natural beauty of the area. We were continually saying " the hosts thought of everything!" If you are looking to comfortably relax with friends and family (young and old) this is the place for you! I stayed at Meg's beautiful home with my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend in Deltaville, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is spacious, clean, and well-organized, which made it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay during such a special time. Meg was so kind and responsive, providing helpful local recommendations and detailed instructions for the house. My wife is a bit of a planner so scheduling a last-minute getaway is not something I do often, but I'm so glad I did. This was exactly what we needed, A few days away from the stresses of life and family. This home met all of those needs. It was quiet, secluded and overall a very beautiful location and home. It had everything we needed and more. The small towns of White Stone and Kilmarnock offered many fantastic food options which we definitely took advantage of. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We have already started looking to see if we can plan a trip here with the whole family. Thanks again to our host who was very responsive and helped answer all of our questions.

Mary Lou’s farmhouse in White Stone was the perfect place for a girls’ weekend with my Mom and my daughter. They have done an incredible job renovating and updating the house while still maintaining the historical charm of the farm house. As suspected, the screened in porch was our favorite area of the house and we spent much of our time there. The living room was also very comfortable and the decor is lovely. Lastly, Mary Lou’s local recommendations and quick response were excellent, couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!

Very good spot for a small family trip to Tangier (I came alone, so it was more than enough.) The house is spotless, and Travis has some extras there for his guests (coffee, water, fishing rods, board games for young kids on a rainy day.) Travis also sent me the phone number for an evening ferry off the island, which was extremely helpful. I had a great stay at Travis' place, and would stay here again. I hope to soon.

We have been going the colonies for years but it’s always tough finding a place since it’s not a hotel and is only time shares. The big companies charge a ton and lots of fees. We were lucky to find Nicholas on air bnb. All went perfect and we had a great time.
