The home was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely stay here again! Grace was super quick to respond to any questions and the sauna was amazing!! I highly recommend booking here!

We usually stay during the winter (which is so peaceful and beautiful) but were thrilled to have a chance to stay during some warm weather during the kids spring break. We were able to fish, catch some crabs, kayak, enjoy walks and play on the "beach". We had a blast and are so grateful for the beautiful weather and peaceful retreat. Thank you for sharing your bit of paradise with us!

My friends and I had a wonderful long weekend at the Deltaville Blue Cottage. The house perfectly showcased the views, fresh breezes, and natural beauty of the area. We were continually saying " the hosts thought of everything!" If you are looking to comfortably relax with friends and family (young and old) this is the place for you! A spacious home by the water. We celebrated Thanksgiving at this location and it was very special. The views are beautiful, had a fire right by the water and relaxed by the beach. A perfect getaway with family and friends. It has everything you need, the living room is super comfortable and great to relax with the family. The kitchen was spacious making it easy to cook and entertain the family. We loved the hot tub, playing pool and having family dinner. Overall a fabulous experience!! Great host- great communication. Highly recommend

This house is beautiful! My family and dog traveled down from Massachusetts and enjoyed being able to spend almost the entire time outside. The dock is amazing - once we brought down a cooler and towels, we were able to spend hours fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and just relaxing. We also loved the opportunity to try out the sauna / outdoor shower combination and the firepit has great sunset views. Inside the house is huge. Each bedroom was clean and well decorated. The basement den would have kept us busy if the weather was lousy but we spent most of our time in the kitchen / sunroom area and out on the decks. The kitchen had everything we needed - and we cooked dinner 4 nights in a row. The location is very convenient to Irvington and Kilmarnock so grabbing groceries was quick and easy. We usually try to visit new locations every time we head down to the Northern Neck but this house might be one that we put on repeat! We definitely recommend it!

Our family absolutely loved the tranquility of being right on the water, the home was decorated perfectly and very clean. This is a true gem in Deltaville!

One of the very best Air BnB rentals we've ever had. The other one we normally use in the NN was rented for the dates we wanted. This one was available, it looked good, so we gave it a try. It's tied as our #1 favorite place to stay. We'll be back here next year as it is so close and convenient to everything and the home was terrific!

I stayed at Meg's beautiful home with my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend in Deltaville, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is spacious, clean, and well-organized, which made it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay during such a special time. Meg was so kind and responsive, providing helpful local recommendations and detailed instructions for the house. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and her hospitality made my wedding weekend even better. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—thank you, Meg!

We absolutely loved our stay! This is the one place my husband and I have stayed at that was extremely accommodating to families with small children. Host were amazing and always responsive. They even checked in with us a few times during our stay. This will be our go to place when we come to visit family.

We had a great long weekend stay. The house was spacious and well appointed. We loved sitting outside under the stars and playing with the kids in the sunroom. Was such a nice touch to have kids toys at the house and lots of space to gather. We had one issue with the HVAC but each space had a window AC unit and the host was super helpful and responsive. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

What a perfect cottage! Beautifully (but comfortably) furnished, right on the water, incredibly well-stocked. Arranged so families can spread out, or gather together. Everything you could possibly require or desire for a vacation or getaway was there. And the area is full of things to do--walks, birdwatching, antiquing, or, if you're an architecture geek like me, historic sites and buildings. You're also a 3-minute walk from the best restaurant on the Northern Neck, Merroir Tasting Room. Can't wait to come back.

Our stay at The Cottage at Elm Bank exceeded our expectations. We traveled to Virginia from New Jersey. A single mom, her two big boys and her little pup. We were in town for a little getaway for Easter weekend. I was looking for some peace and tranquility. When we arrived, we were greeted by Susan and George. They were kind and welcoming. The property is absolutely breathtaking. Our accommodations were cozy and super clean. What stood out the most was all of the personal touches that Susan and George provided. We had a welcome basket waiting for us with many thoughtful things for us to snack on. It was as if they knew exactly what we liked. Susan was very responsive and George was very helpful, he even allowed the boys to use the kayaks and helped them set things up to get into the water. We were able to use the pickleball court and the basketball hoop. They set up wood for a wonderful fire and provided the marshmallows and sticks! It’s a beautiful property with wonderful hosts!

I cannot find the words to express our families stay. When I say this was the best stay at an ABNB we have had thus far it was. The outside itself from the landscaping to the scenery was breathtaking. Checking in was a breeze. Once inside pictures cannot begin to show the beauty of this property. The hosts have really thought through a guest experience. They went over and beyond hosts duties adding extreme attention to details. Anything and everything you may need or want for your stay was there. Even with all the extra amenities and the beauty of the home our family instantly felt at home. We loved our stay so much we have already booked our next stay.

Despite miserable weather, we had a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. Elizabeth and family are excellent hosts. We had great local meals at the Car Wash and the Office Bistro. The views from the house are beautiful and the gas fireplace and games helped keep the cold out during our Feb stay. This is the first property we have stayed at with a 3 pm check out and it was transformative!

My group of 10 had a wonderful stay at the Rivah House! We could have fit several more people quite comfortably - we felt we had plenty of space in both common areas and rooms. Lots of fun, bright decor livens up the space and makes it feel homey. The house was clean, linens were nice, and beds were very comfy. We appreciated that there were different room configurations that could fit a variety of group types. The kitchen was extremely well-appointed, with plenty of dishes, utensils, and some pleasant surprises like a Crock-Pot! Our group had a great time cooking and eating together around the big table. Our stay was early March but if the weather had been warmer, we definitely would have spent more time sitting out by the dock watching the birds on the water, playing with all the outdoor toys (kayaks, etc.), and enjoying the spacious fire pit. Francesca was an excellent host, giving us clear check-in/out instructions, local advice, and responding promptly.

Had a great time at the Elderberries cottage! The views were spectacular, and you could take them in from the enclosed porch, the open deck, and even the living room. The entire setup was perfect for a vacation/remote work getaway, and the kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great, and the smart TV supported pretty much any streaming service you'd want. Rachel was friendly and super responsive; we hope to stay there again sometime.

We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

Great place to stay for rest, relaxation, peace and quiet. In my short time there, I saw a wild turkey, a fox, an otter, red wing black birds, a woodpecker, and cardinals. And at night, I heard tree frogs and an owl was really close by. Terri is wonderful as a host!

If you’re looking for a getaway in a tranquil setting this is perfect. Great for lovers of the water too. A few museums, country stores/markets and seafood vendors nearby. If you venture further you’ll bump into some boutique shopping.

This is a wonderful place on a large creek off the Chesapeake Bay. This place oozes with charm and ambiance and feels so peaceful. We spent the first day just relaxing and doing nothing but looking at the water and chilling on the front porch. The house is updated on the inside and has a large lot with kayaks and a fishing pier. Great hiking at the natural preserves in the area too. We're grateful to the hosts for opening their home to us and we'll definitely come back.

This cabin was the perfect getaway for my family. The waterfront location is absolutely stunning, and my sons had a fantastic time playing in the water. The cabin is exceptionally well-equipped, providing everything we could possibly need. It's a true escape from civilization, offering a profound sense of peace and tranquility. We're grateful to Justin for sharing his beautiful cabin with us. We're already looking forward to returning in the near future!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We loved our stay here! We wanted to take our kids to Busch Gardens, but didn’t want to stay in a hotel. This house had all the adventures for our kids with plenty of space and a short drive to Williamsburg!

We had a wonderful, but too brief stay with our dog. The setting is beautiful and there are many nice little touches (we especially liked the long string of lights leading all the way to the dock. Like something out of a fairy tale at night.) We can't say we did much beyond sitting by the water, sitting by the firepit, and sitting on the deck listening to birds, but that's exactly what we were after.
