Great little place to stay - affordable with 2 bedrooms, great kitchen and roomy. Lots of little extras like chocolates for us, breakfast, bath bombs for the bath. Thank you for the stay

I really appreciated how responsive and accomodating Mike was during our stay. He made sure all our needs were met and rectified any issues we had. Instructions were clear and the place was beautiful with plenty of activities to do. My family and I made great memories during our short Easter getaway here.

Loved the place. Stayed here with seven guests and it was great. Heaps of room, plenty of beds, spa and tennis court were spot on and it’s all within a short walk to the beach. Braiden was a great host and made everything super comfortable for us. Would happily stay here again. Thanks for having us Braiden!

From the moment I arrived at Smokey Cape Retreat, I knew I had found something special. Tucked away in a peaceful, remote setting, this Airbnb offered the perfect blend of tranquility, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality. The 5-star views were simply breathtaking—sunrises over the hills, stars that felt close enough to touch, and a sense of stillness that’s hard to come by. What truly sets this place apart is the attention to detail. The space was immaculately clean and beautifully maintained, with every corner showing care and thoughtfulness. I was especially impressed by the generous breakfast provisions and snacks—everything was fresh, high-quality, and made me feel completely looked after. The friendly resident animals added an extra layer of warmth and charm to my stay. Whether it was watching kangaroos graze nearby or being greeted by the gentle farm animals, it was a wholesome, grounding experience I won’t forget. Smokey Cape is a hidden gem and I can’t wait to return

Beautiful views and very peaceful! Nathan was excellent with communication, very responsive and helpful. The place is even more stunning than in the photos. The only downside was that the coffee machine didn’t work, and the kitchen amenities could use an update. There weren’t enough wine glasses, bowls, etc., for the number of guests the house accommodates. Also, it’s best to have a 4x4 vehicle to access the property, especially if it’s been raining. That said, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend it!

Loved the house and all the utensils in the kitchen, the 3 bathrooms and the outdoor shower. fantastic water pressure even when a few showers were being used. Maddie was super responsive and helpful. The cleanliness was not great but that seems to be a Hawks Nest issue, nothing the host can do about it. Loved the house and all the space.

Mary is a wonderful host, helpful and personable. Mary provides breakfast if required and beautiful chocolates on arrival. Her place was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The garden is beautiful and there is room to sit and reflect outside. We would love to come back to Mary’s unit. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Robyn and Paul.

We really enjoyed our stay at Terry and Sue’s place. Very spacious and well appointed with extra touches to make you feel welcome and comfortable .We really appreciated the bread and milk as well as other supplies that they provided. Spotlessly clean and the kitchen was great. We made good use of the utensils and air fryer. A quiet neighbourhood but close to the beach, shops and restaurants with lovely views of the hinterland from the balcony. Terry and Sue are very welcoming and responsive and helpful when needed. We look forward to coming back and staying here again!

This was perfect place for 2 couples to spend time together, cook, rest and talk all next to the pool. Thank you for accomodating us on every level. Beach is right next to house with shellow part just drive or walk away (some of us just walked to and on beach). All comfort for decent price - with BBQ to be fixed or taken out from listing, as kitchen provided for cooking needs Not to mention excellent Pub with great food close by.

Really enjoyed our night stay with Maureen - great location with an easy walk to everything you need. Maureen was fabulous to deal with - welcoming on arrival and really helpful throughout our stay. Loved the details of the accomodation.

Beautiful private stay. Jan was very welcoming and prepared a breakfast at chosen time each morning. Everything as pictured and beautiful location just 20 mins to main shops in Foster and beautiful holiday beach style

We had a wonderful stay with Pete and Les at their beautiful property. This is a gorgeous purpose built B&B and provides a beautifully appointed room with very comfortable bed, quality linen and huge ensuite. We had the nautical room and were able to have our dog stay. Being a traditional B&B, breakfast is provided and is fabulous. This is such a serene rural setting but only 15 minutes into Taree and to the beach at Old Bar. We loved our two nights here and highly recommend to others. Thank you Pete and Les.

We had such a wonderful stay at this place! The accommodation was beautiful, clean, and cozy. Laura, who was staying nearby, was an absolute gem. She was incredibly kind, respected our privacy, and even prepared a lovely breakfast for us in the morning, which was such a thoughtful touch. The whole experience was perfect, and we would definitely love to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay!

Great location, few minutes drive to the local town. Very friendly host and recommend us with few places need to visit in the local area. We stayed at the room with a luxury SPA, the entire place was tidy and homely. Wake up with sunshine and beautiful gardens, having a 5 star equivalent breakfast, what else do you need for a holiday? Highly recommend!!!

Our stay at the property was so comfortable & one of the best. Peter & his wife made us feel at home through out our stay. His pets were very friendly and the whole house was maintained so clean /organised. Our 1yr old pet also settled down quickly in the new place, had a lot of play time & was so comfortable. We really loved the location, our stay, cooking & dining together. It was a wonderful experience & we enjoyed every moment.. If we plan another road trip to Sydney or in that region, I will look for this property & happily stay with Peter again... Long story short, they are just lovely people, really a superhost, in a lovely location & in a lovely property ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☺️
