The journey is an adventure. Made good use of our 4x4 to traverse the steep rocky hills on the road to Brunate. Thrilling.
Upon arrival we were met by the Victor, the Brunate's guardian, who was super helpful throughout our stay, always immediately responsive. On our second day he took us on a glorious hike throughout the coffee farm. Made everything seamless.
The buildings and facilities are exactly what one expects in a mountain cabin complex. KItchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms are comfortable and rustic. The fireplace area is a cozy nook. Great dining space plus a bonus room with a large table and good space as a chillout or work area.
We used the Tamazcal two separate days and what an experience: invigorating, rejuvenating, healing. Sauna, cool pool, hot tub -- all powered by wood-burning fire and fresh spring water from local springs.
So much more to say but will close with the fact that we can't wait to return.
