Cynthia was great with her comms, flexible with our booking, check in/check out was super easy, and the house was clean with listed amenities. Great location..a 3min drive from a shopping centre. The house is situated at the end of a narrow driveway with thick shrubs and there is limited street parking so it might be a little challenging to manoeuvre a large vehicle in and out of the driveway. That’s obviously not a fault of the house itself. Just something to take into consideration if you’re travelling with a big car or not a confident driver.

Sally's place is great, has everything you need in the house. Nice, quiet suburb with a very short and easy drive to all amenities. Excellent value. Sally was a great host, very helpful

Easy to get to, Nice and early check-in which is also extremely flexible. Easy driveway and easy kerb side parking. Place was extremely nice and clean with aircon already on when we entered in which is really nice! Have all the cutlery and utensils needed to cook any meal, place is also very much kid/baby friendly with cribs and play area. An amazing quiet area to sleep at when visiting the city. My friend and I found it very convenient with light rail lines and train lines very close by and to rest for every night during the F1 weekend. Highly recommend this place if you want a nice, comfortable and cozy stay at Melbourne. Also the TV is great! Thanks Shirley so much for hosting!!!

Staying at the Heart of the Lion was one of the most incredible experiences. Being in a home that is over a hundred years old with a vast history was remarkable. It is incredible and very impressive that Grace and her family maintains their home and humongous garden all by themselves. The hosts were very friendly and gave clear instructions as to how to best preserve and respect this home, it is clear the amount of effort they put into allowing others to enjoy their historical property. The main bathtub was impeccable!!! so luxurious that my partner used it twice within our 1 day stay. I would highly recommend anyone to stay a night here to enjoy this wonderful staycation!

had a great Christmas! thanks so much for having us. The house was massive, clean and fairly well equipped, could do with some more cooking trays and pots and pans but otherwise very good.

What a find! Peter & Yoshie’s place is amazing. The location is lovely, so close to the beach and local amenities. We ate in, but the cafe opposite is obviously very popular as were the restaurants within easy walking distance. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We had varied weather but were warm and cosy. We were lucky with enough warm sun to have beautiful still mornings so ate our breakfast on the small park next door and watched the sunsets from the bench overlooking the sea watching pelicans and other seabirds fly past. Would highly recommend and hope to return when we visit Melbourne next.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ivanhoe. Our accommodations were lovely, spacious, and comfortable. We especially loved being able to walk everywhere. The shops, restaurants, and train station are very close. There are so many restaurant options in town! I highly recommend this airbnb.

We were fortunate enough to stay here for almost a month and it did not disappoint! House was beautifully decorated and clean! Equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable long term stay. Annika was incredible helpful and responsive whenever we had any questions. Could not fault! Perfect location for a weekend getaway!

What a fabulous place! The character of this home and beauty of the surrounding gardens made for such a great family getaway. With the billiard table, pool, sauna and tennis court, our teenagers were happy and occupied. Loved that we could walk to Sherbrooke Falls from the house, and the gorgeous cafe across the road. We had a great time in Mount Martha with super responsive friendly hosts. The place really is wheelchair accessible - which made life a lot easier for us.

Stunning gardens, beautiful home. Privacy for at least 3 couples with multiple communal areas. All needs thought of.

Amy and Edzard are greats hosts and provided timely response during our stay. We feel well looked after all the time from the detailed check in guide to the great presentation of the whole property. The house itself is a hidden gem in the area and also it is close to the gardens and walking tracks nearby which is ideal for a morning walk. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved staying at Mark’s fantastic house! It’s a beautiful property, and larger than it seems in the photos. It’s also very well equipped, and with the crazy Melbourne weather kept us warm with the heating and cool with the aircon. Our pup really enjoyed her time there, too! The pool is also fantastic, and the decked area great for chilling out. We would love to stay again in future!

Quiet and safe neighbourhood. Easy to park and great for large families. The lake view from the yard is truly stunning. Those with kids will enjoy the opportunity to feed the geese and ducks that come right up to your yard. The place is sparkling clean and host is very responsive to all our queries.

Allan’s place is a beauty. Comfortably catered for couples with multiple floors and own ensuites/living spaces. Luxurious finishes and plenty to like with nice kitchen, living, entertainment and a lift! Allan responded when we needed assistance and checked in along the way. Thanks again Allan.

The house is so open and spacious exactly what we needed for the family. The backyard is small, but there’s a wonderful park 5mins walk, and small shopping center 15mins walk away that I could pick up whatever we needed. Area is safe and quiet.
