I was in search of a peaceful relaxing experience and this was it. The solarium dining area is such a good zone for breakfast, journaling, friend chats. Love the cool decor, coffee-tea service and the gift of farm fresh eggs. The hot tub was elevated in the forest in an amazing way, we loved the views. We spent a lot of time soaking, and would say this was definitely a highlight of our stay. If you are not sure-footed, this may not be the place for you to descend to the hot tub. Fortunately it was not a problem for us. We did not need extra temp control for the first week of May. Pleasant and comfortable. Garden areas are lovely and well landscaped. A very friendly neighborhood. Overall, a great experience.

We absolutely loved this getaway in the redwoods! It was very peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and had everything we needed. Near everything you need in town, but also great if you just want to hide away for a weekend. The host was extremely communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

Peter’s place is brimming with authenticity. The pictures don’t do it justice — it’s cozy, warm, and full of heart. You can truly feel the love that built this home. The large window looks out onto a beautiful native landscape filled with tanoaks and blooming rhododendrons. We walked his property and even found two types of native orchids! Peter kindly started a fire for us without us even asking and made us feel incredibly welcome. The kitchen had everything you could need, all natural — no Teflon in sight. A huge bonus: no stinky plug-ins or heavily-scented linens. Everything felt fresh and clean. We can’t recommend it enough!

This was the perfect place for our first road trip with our newborn baby and dog. Absolutely beautiful location with huge, securely fenced yard for our pup to explore. The house is very comfortable and well outfitted with all the kitchen stuff we needed to cook all of our meals, shower toiletries, etc. The view from the house and porches is stunning and the private beach could be fun for swimming or using the two person kayak. We will absolutely be back!

The cabin is very quiet with great views. The wood stove is more than sufficient to keep the place warm just be sure to bring some kindling and some paper. There was also a nice list of suggested spots and a record player. Overal a lovely stay.

great stay in cozy cabin.. surrounded by trees, super quiet, and equipped with everything you could want. we went to harbin hot springs and hiking. tucked away in forest but coffee shop, restaurant, and grocery store are walkable. host is super responsive! RECOMMEND

Sue’s place was absolutely wonderful. From the peaceful and private location to the thoughtful and kind hosts, I’d highly recommend staying here. Sue was quick to respond to anything we needed and always did so with such warmth. When we arrived, there was a wagon waiting to help us carry our things from the parking spot to the cottage—a super helpful touch that made the short walk easy, even with suitcases, bags, and groceries. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful trees and set in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for walks any time of day. Inside, the Airbnb was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed—from cookware to a great selection of spices. You can tell a lot of care went into making it feel like a true home away from home. We genuinely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Sue and Jess, for such a memorable and amazing experience!

Initially I booked a stay for my mom and I for her birthday but unfortunately, I got bronchitis the week before. I communicated this to my hosts but that my mom was still coming and that it was her birthday. They were incredibly sweet asking if she liked sweets or wine, ultimately gifting her a beautiful plant since she has a lot of food allergies. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful with a lovely welcome message and offer for fresh-baked chocolate cookies to bring home to me. They had very clear and detailed instructions about what to expect with directions, cell phone signal and GPS and then local places to visit. My mom visited a goat farm on her way in to the area but otherwise kept a very low profile the rest of the weekend. She FaceTimed me one evening showing me around the space and it appeared well stocked, spacious and nicely decorated. I am really looking forward to returning here with my mom and dog next year.

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

Beautiful cabin, even more stunning than the pictures suggest. Every detail was meticulously chosen to maximize our comfort. Looking forward to staying here many times in the future.

The cabin was so lovely and cozy! The wood stove/fireplace was truly amazing, the cabin was so warm and toasty throughout the night. Laurie, Greg and Skip are all so great and accommodating. The bathrooms were always so clean, with hot water showers. The location is amazing, everything is close by: gorgeous hikes at Hendy Woods State Park, and near some amazing wineries for wine tasting. We absolutely loved our time here!

A wonderful stay at Pam and Libby’s cabin! Easy check in/out instructions. Rustic home with modern and luxury furnishings and toilettries. Very tidy and clean. Fully stocked kitchen, noting that it is a second home and the pantry may feel lived in. The beds and all the bedding and blankets were so comfortable, making for a cozy and sleepy rained in weekend. Many places to sit and gather outside, I imagine it is perfect in warmer weather. The decor is well curated and tasteful, they designed it wonderfully. As noted in their post, there are a few flights of stairs to traverse, so make sure you and your mates are comfortable with this. The drive in is not so bad! Just drive slowly :)

Arriving late at night after a last minute booking was a challenge on dirt roads with a 2 wheel drive but the instructions were clear and worth the experience of staying in an enchantingly serene cabin/hut. This little hut located on McNab ranch, the backroads of Ukiah county, was perfectly constructed to meet ones needs: outside kitchen counter, sink, and shower, little bed and cot, a writing desk and shelves for towels and lanterns. It’s the kind of place one would use to get away to, to finish a book or do deep meditation at. The hut doesn’t have a bathroom, so be aware that you have to dispose of the bucket in the compost bin, but to anyone who’s ever roughed it or owned a dog, this isn’t even a setback. In the morning, I was awoken by a squirrel hiding its nuts on the roof, seller’s jays and quail. Shar and Lea are both kindred souls, two fairies that maintain the harmony on their sacred land.. I stayed for a week with my dog on a writing retreat. Sarita and John’s cabin is the perfect location for reflection and solitude! The cabin itself is so pretty and well appointed with all the basic appliances and equipment for cooking, a beautiful wood fire stove, lots of windows and skylights for natural light and a gorgeous deck and surrounding land. The soaking tub upstairs was a perfect place to get cozy as I was there during cold weather and a lot of rainstorms. In addition to the beauty of the space, Sarita and John are the most generous hosts! They loaned me a blender for my morning smoothies, gave me some local lemons, and offered great advice on dog friendly hiking trails. Sarita even stopped by to show me how to set up the wood stove correctly. The location is just a short drive from downtown fort Bragg with excellent stores, restaurants, near lots of gorgeous redwood hikes and coastal bluffs. Both my dog and I loved staying here and we hope to go back for a longer visit!
