Beautiful home and location. Refreshing, restorative, relaxing. Comfy beds, mine being extremely firm, which is what I like. Sweet area for tea and snacks/sitting. Quiet. Attentive hosts who were eager to share but also respect privacy and time. Glad we both got knees replaced so we could enjoy the stair climb. Note, if you have special mobility needs getting in or out from small corner, shower there is no safety bar to grab onto. Will likely return.

Yes, what a great place for my weekend stay. Last night I was very tired after 100 mile bike ride and slept very well. No noise or anything that could have kept me awake.

This place is the perfect getaway for a couple looking to explore Sonoma County without paying for an overpriced hotel. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. The Sleep Number bed was incredibly comfortable—it actually caused us to sleep in longer than expected! Upon arrival, the hosts warmly greeted us and gave us a tour of their home. They even offered to set up a fire near their beautiful rose garden or let us relax on their front porch. They also provided a great binder full of thoughtful local recommendations. We’d absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

I had the very BEST stay at Mark's place! Everything about the stay was magical - the cottage was quaint and lovely, surrounded by redwoods. Mark's hospitality was of the very best I have seen...he was so kind, helpful and caring and lovely to talk with during the stay. He cares so much and wants to make sure his guests have the best experience. And wow the baked goods are incredible! This was the best mini retreat I could have imagined..I will definitely be back!

This place is dreamy! I stayed in the farmhouse and it’s the place where you check in. It’s a beautiful building with a living room and a fireplace and lots of tables for eating. The food they make here is outstanding. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is shared with the people staying in the other room in the farm house. The other rentals on this property are all within earshot. The staff is accommodating and energetic. This place is great for a big event or a quiet getaway. I will definitely be back!

Great place to stay. It’s an individual caboose not a shared place. It’s a bnb and even includes breakfast. 10/10 recommend. Such a beautiful place on the lake

June and Paul are great. The cabooses are a fun place to get away. Cozy relaxing and unique. June’s breakfasts are outstanding.

I'm so happy I found this gem. We stayed in the Jenner room - super cute, cozy and clean. It felt a little like we were in Tahoe with a splash of wine country. Bryce and Dana were super accommodating and had great suggestions. The breakfast sandwich was hands down the best breakfast sandwich we had ever had (hope I'm not setting the expectations too high)! Thanks for a great stay and we'll definitely be back!

Just do it. Steve is not only a creative person who fills his home with art and engaging objects, plus a mesmerizing koi pond. He's also a warm and welcoming host who anticipated our needs so well and was extremely gracious. The place was great to stay in, and unlike any Airbnbs these days, it's actually his home and he actually wants to host you well. Steve's recommendations for what to do in the area are worth heeding as well.

We seriously enjoyed the Seagull Inn. The room was well appointed, well decorated and clean. The host was super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walking around downtown Mendocino. The breakfast was great and consisted of coffee, OJ, Biscotti, and Excellent Greek yogurt parfait. Highly recommended.

What an Oasis! I’d give more than 5 stars if possible. June makes a great breakfast and Paul is a wealth of local information. The pool was perfect too!

Stayed here on my trip up the west coast

We had a great time here! Becky, the innkeeper, was very kind and knowledgeable about the area and cooked everybody some mean pancakes in the morning. I want to emphasize how good the free homemade breakfast was. We will be back!

We were very pleased with our stay! It was the first time my children have experienced a bed-and-breakfast. They really enjoyed the family style breakfast. We loved the beaches and the details of staying in this gem of a home, with so many old world style details. We would stay here again the next time we're in the area! The inn is managed very well and capably by Becky. We highly recommend it!

The host Becky was amazing! she was very responsive and kind. She chopped kindling for our fire place and made pancakes in the morning! The room and building itself was super magical! We will definitely be back
