This place was out of this world, blew our minds, highlight of the trip. the tower is indescribable. so unique, gorgeous, clean, cozy, every floor an adventure and so exciting to stay and discover it. the host is responsive, kind, arranged transport from public parking to the front door in the center of town. the front door is right on the main square by the cathedrals and museum. we had evening wine and breakfast at sunrise from the rooftop terrace and the views were out of this world. DO IT!!

WOW! This place is really ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best location, best view, best host, best region, best garden, best everything. Entering this place feels heartwarming. And so does the jacuzzi with a 50km view over the hills. Whenever this place is still available, don’t hesitate and BOOK IT. You will not regret it. This is in our top 3 locations worldwide. We had such an unforgettable stay at the castle - it’s such an iconic accommodation and such great value. All of the rooms are so beautiful and the views are incredible. The pool area was our personal favourite amongst all the olive trees and the local town is also very charming. Luca was super responsive, kind and helpful. I would recommend taking a car which we did. We hope to come back!

We stayed at Torre Gigliano for 3 nights in April as a break from a long drive between the UK and eastern Europe. Alessandra was a generous and friendly host, on hand but not intrusive and was flexible with our check-in time when our ferry crossing was changed significantly. The tower was the most perfect place to rest and relax for a few days with both indoor and outdoor space being truly magical. The tower is beautifully presented and we found everything impeccably clean and all facilities exactly as described. The outdoor space is equally stunning with acres of olive groves to wander within (ideal for dogs), a beautifully clean small pool and each of the four sides of the tower offering a different place to sit and relax. We planned to leave the tower and explore Ruvo and the surroundings but found the place just too difficult to leave. Thank you Alessandra.

Der Turm und der Park sind ein kleines Paradies. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Obwohl zentral gelegen ist es im Park wunderbar ruhig. Die Nacht im Turmzimmer, das Frühstück auf der Terrasse, ... . Mit dem Bus (Linie 17) ist man schnell im Zentrum. Das Auto kann man sicher auf dem Grundstück parken. Vielen Dank für das schöne Erlebnis, wir kommen gerne wieder.

We absolutely loved our stay! The place has the most beautiful view!! Daniela is a phenomenal host! The place is definitely harder to get to without a car, but Daniela went out of her way to tell us what bus to take, the bus schedules and made sure we got off at the right stop! She went above and beyond! It was very clean upon arrival. We had everything we needed for a week stay — enough towels & linens, pots & pans, paper towels & toilet paper. We loved how much there was to walk to around the place. There is a butcher shop across the street, at least 4 restaurants within walking distance, and a small market with everything we needed. We also walked to the beach many times. There is also a scooter rental place next door that we utilized and that was so convenient and great! It was so quiet and peaceful and all the neighbors are so nice! I just have to mention again how GREAT the views were! We would def come back!! Our only complaints were the amount of flies & how hard the bed was.

Marina was zeker en vast een superhost! Een fijne babbel, hartelijke welkom en uitermate vriendelijk. Op het laatste moment heeft ze voor ons een kookworkshop geregeld in haar eigen keuken. Dit was echt een topervaring en maakte ons verblijf nog veel leuker. Fijne omgeving en goede uitvalsbasis voor omliggende dorpjes te verkennen. Het enige nadeel was het luide bed. We raden het zeker aan! =) Bedankt Marina!

Ho trascorso un paio di giorni in una torre medievale che sembra uscita da un sogno antico, o forse da un’altra vita. Nessuna luce elettrica, nessun riscaldamento: solo pietra, legno, silenzio e il tempo che rallenta. È un’esperienza che chiede di spogliarsi del superfluo, di tornare a sentire il proprio respiro, il vento tra le fessure, la voce del fuoco. Ogni angolo di questa torre parla di storie passate, ma non è un museo: è viva, ti accoglie con la sua ruvida autenticità e ti costringe a guardarti dentro. Nessuna distrazione, solo l’essenziale. È un luogo perfetto per chi ha bisogno di staccare davvero e ritrovare un contatto profondo con sé stesso. Se senti il richiamo, sai già che devi andarci.

Bellissima esperienza in una location unica nel suo genere. La Casatorre di Irola dell'host Elena risponde perfettamente al tipo di esperienza cercato, non capita spesso di poter soggiornare all'interno di una bellissima e molto curata Casatorre dell'anno 1000. I vari ambienti si sposano perfettamente tra di loro in una suggestiva cornice, dove l'antico si fonde alla perfezione con le comodita' di una casa moderna e funzionale. In merito al soggiorno, tre coppie di amici che desideravano trascorrere del tempo insieme (ognuno ha potuto disporre dei propri spazi privati, con ampi spazi conviviali condivisi), mi sento di consigliare caldamente questo posto. Vorrei ringraziare anche Bruno che ci ha accolti e mostrato le caratteristiche uniche della casa e ci ha fornito indicazioni preziose per quanto concerne cosa visitare nei dintorni.
