As a pet-friendly property, we warmly welcome your pets with a $150 pet fee.

Every 10 nights of rentals will provide 1 free night for a family who has adopted or is fostering. 3 bedrooms and a loft with a sofa sleeper allows for 8 guests (10 w/air mattress). 1 dog allowed. Watch the sunset from the hot tub or chairs around the fire pit. Wake up and sip coffee from your private deck at each bedroom. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Large front porch with wooden rockers. Kitchen is very small, with most everything except for oven. Has two small ponds with fish in them loaner poles and tackle in closet no license required. It's in the woods there is wildlife, stream and old growth trees to view. Park style charcoal grill in the yard. Hammock, picnic area at ponds.

Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.
