For those looking for luxury, the Backpacker is not for you (you may encounter bugs and it's really hot in summer). However, the Backpacker has a pretty cool vibe, and is extremely convenient to historic Charleston and Funky Folly Beach. The Backpacker is for backpackers and nature lovers.

This studio apartment is private, modern, and newly renovated. You'll have a kitchenette, grill, outdoor seating, and access to beach equipment. Also only a 5 minute walk to the West Ashley Greenway for biking/jogging!

Riverland Terrace Guesthouse

Private and quiet guest suite perfect for nature lovers. Our guest house is tucked up against a small marshy area in our backyard on James Island. Located about 5 minutes to downtown Charleston, 5 minutes to John's Island and 15 minutes to Folly Beach. Five minute walk to the Pour House and all terrace area restaurants and the terrace theater. We are a very laid back couple looking for laid back guests who need a quiet and peaceful place to use as their base while exploring Charleston.

The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!
