It was a last minute decision to spend sometime away from home over the weekend & Lacy was super quick in responding and accommodating us at the Tiny house. Place was super clean, perfect size with plenty of place to sit outside with pool and kids play area with swings, that was a great touch. Staff at Gathering Oaks are very helpful and always around incase you need anything. Perfect place for a weekend getaway. But if taking your pet there will be additional $50 charge, which I feel is little higher from what I have seen in the past. :)

We recently stayed at Gathering Oaks Retreat in Crawford, TX, for a couples weekend getaway, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced by the serene and peaceful surroundings. The retreat is beautifully maintained, and the outdoor games in the courtyard were a delightful addition to our stay. The property truly embodies a relaxing atmosphere. We spent our time taking nature walks, enjoying the fresh air, and simply reconnecting with each other. It felt like a blessing to be in such a tranquil setting, where we could pause and appreciate life's simple pleasures. The attention to detail in making our stay comfortable was evident, and the hostess was very helpful with the instructions for the facility. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape or a chance to rekindle your relationship, Gathering Oaks Retreat is the perfect destination. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and full of gratitude for the experience. Five stars all the way!!

This was one of the best locations we’ve stayed. I completed 180 miles on bike for the MS150 Texas and needed a nice space to recover and rest. This was everything we needed to unplug, rest, reset and so much more above our expectations. Poles in the water, fire pit going, lights on the trees and food on the grill. Absolutely beautiful stay. Overall very satisfied with the tiny house stay. We were the only ones there that weekend so it was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and all the activities on the premise. We can see this place being an awesome choice for a retreat or family reunion. Lacy was a great host and responsive to any questions. Would recommend to anyone.

The beds were comfortable just a bit difficult to get to! Not sure about the safety of the loft bed. Checkin was easy, hosts were very responsive. There were some spiderwebs and that was my reason for giving cleanliness a 4 rating. The tiny house was clean otherwise. Met our needs.

The Silo’s and the Fossil Creek location were absolutely amazing! The hosts were incredible. We had an amazing trip! Thank you for the hospitality and we look forward to coming again!

I have been coming back to Taylor’s cabins for months now when I have to be in Waco. They are really great at being accommodating to my requests concerning check in’s and check outs and have always checked on how comfortable I am throughout the stay!! As a widowed woman who is usually traveling away from kids, this makes me feel safe and well looked after!!!! I love the private feel of the property and it always feels like a mini vacation when I have to travel in for work with my business partner. I love full moons at the property and all the stars. It is really a little magical hideaway and as long as I have my contract in Waco , I hope to not have to stay anywhere else

Moss Oak was decorated cute and comfortably and we had everything we needed. We appreciated the quick drive to Magnolia, making the location perfect for us!

Beautiful place! And very relaxing. Lake isn't as big as it appears in photos, but still a decent size. Lots of animals around the pond as well which was fun...frogs, birds, turtles, etc. A great getaway spot to disconnect for a bit!

This house is just as clean and well appointed as their house next door! It was a pleasure to stay here -- it's nicely decorated and very comfortable. I will definitely stay again!!

Great little spot for what we needed. My husband and I were in town for our daughter's school event and just needed somewhere comfy to stay so we could come and go for her events and sneak in a little shopping. They let it be known the street was loud, and it was, but we weren't bothered when sleeping at all. Space was clean, located in a very convenient location to shopping/food. If you stay here, there is a corner store you can see from the back yard, go try their fried ribs, we'd come back just to eat there! Best part of the neighborhood, and you will smell them cooking!

We were in Waco attending the Homestead Heritage Conference and found out we were staying practically in the backyard. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Sheep in the field, nice little touches everywhere. We didn't want for anything. Highly recommend Heritage Coffee. Order the Fredo hot. And Cafe Homestead. Thank you for sharing your space with us.

I traveled to Waco Tx without great expectations, but I was surprise about this gorgeus place, is on quiet neighborhood with all that you need, bed is amazing confortable and place is really clean and well decorated, definitely was a good start for me in this unfortunately I need to get a most permanent place during my time to work there, but definitely is super recommended, also has a private pool, gym and outside fire place.

The space was exactly what we anticipated from the listing! Felt very comfortable and loved the setting!! It felt like a getaway yet still convenient to restaurants, parks, university campus, museums, etc in Waco! All our friends were so intrigued when we told them about this unique stay - we definitely recommend! Thankful for great host!

Lovely little home out in beautiful surroundings and everything you need for a cozy little getaway. Would highly recommend as staying in a shipping container is not only practical but pretty cool as well!

My stay at the Pecan Bluff Cottage was wonderful. It is in a very nice area that is quiet and peaceful which is exactly what I was looking for. The house was very clean and Brenna is an amazing host. She always got back to me very quickly if I had any questions and was very helpful when I needed it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of Waco but still be close enough to enjoy everything Waco has to offer.
