The cabin and ranch were very nice and matched the description. We arrived after dark to check-in and it was a little difficult to find our exact cabin as there are several like it but they do have signs showing the cabin names outside each one. Once inside we found the cabin was comfortable and matched the listing. We had one problem the first night with getting hot water but that was fixed by the next morning. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. To note, the only seating options in the living room area are a couch/futon that can seat up to 3 and 2 bar stools and there are no tables or surfaces outside of the kitchen counters so finding places to set things can be difficult. There is a long road to get to the ranch that is paved but does have numerous dips and potholes. Finally, the stairs to the loft area are steep. The ranch does offer activities that can be booked directly through their website, we booked a couple and overall enjoyed the stay.

Loved our stay. Heritage coffee was so cute right next to the house and so close to town but we loved being just far enough outside the court. We slept in the twin beds and they were amazingly comfortable. Billy was extremely responsive and a great host.

Kelli is a great host. Clear instructions for check in/out. The cabin is super cute and close by for a family members wedding at Old Bethany. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful place! And very relaxing. Lake isn't as big as it appears in photos, but still a decent size. Lots of animals around the pond as well which was fun...frogs, birds, turtles, etc. A great getaway spot to disconnect for a bit!

My stay at Moon River Ranch was unforgettable! The cabin was cozy, beautifully decorated, and provided the perfect retreat surrounded by nature. The safari ride was a unique and amazing experience – we got up close to wildlife with knowledgeable guides who made it even more special. The ATV rentals were another highlight, letting us explore the stunning property through well-maintained trails, offering breathtaking views at every turn. We enjoyed the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, making this place ideal for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We loved unwinding on the porch, soaking in the scenery, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The combination of activities, luxury, and serene atmosphere truly made this a standout experience. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

The cottage at Moon River was great, we enjoyed our time there. The property is beautiful, we felt right at home. We walked around the property and saw so much wildlife. While we stayed we drove to Waco it was very nice, I’d recommend that you visit. Overall the place was great.

What a hidden gem. The stay was top notch! It had everything you would want and imagine a cozy countryside cabin to have. We felt right at home. Hot tub is always a added luxury after long hours of driving in Texas and this one just hits the spot. Also the donkeys at the farm were lovely to interact with. The host was very responsive and took care of all our needs. She went above and beyond. I would love to visit this place again and again.

Great place to stay very close to the town of Waco. Clean and comfy accommodations in a quiet area. I loved everything about this trip especially being able to travel with my puppies. Excellent host who was very responsive. Will definitely stay again!

What a great little escape. Host was proactive in reaching out, provided great instructions, and I imagine is very responsive, but everything was just as described and perfect so we had no need to contact Andrew. House was just as pictured and is a nice little home. Seems bigger inside and the windows offer a nice view and great lighting. The location was amazing with close access to the river and a lot of open green space to play in around the house. We spent our days at the river kayaking and talking to the occasional passerby. Just beautiful and peaceful. The water was a little low so we were able to put our camping chairs on part of the dry riverbed and sit and listen to the birds. At night we sat by the fire pit (smaller pit located in the front yard) and watched all the deer grazing on the other side of the yard. It was a great space and we spent most of the time outdoors enjoying the surroundings. Will be coming back to this nice little retreat.

This was one of the best locations we’ve stayed. I completed 180 miles on bike for the MS150 Texas and needed a nice space to recover and rest. This was everything we needed to unplug, rest, reset and so much more above our expectations. Poles in the water, fire pit going, lights on the trees and food on the grill. Absolutely beautiful stay. Thank you so much !

This was a last minute booking , and they were very accommodating. It is an Ideal location for nature lovers. You will get to experience some enjoyable wildlife sightings. Moon river has Peaceful atmosphere.

Lovely little cabin! Perfect for an anniversary getaway. Nice and intimate setting. comfy and cozy with plenty to do! Love the walking stick I scored in the shop! And our chiweenie, Dallas, Loved the little dog park too stretch his legs a little. Highly recommend checking this place out.

We had a wonderful stay in Texas! The host was very responsive and helpful. The communication could not have been better. The place was easy to find and located in a peaceful, safe area. It was easy to get to Waco attractions and restaurants. The cottage was lovely and smelled amazing! If I’m ever in the area again, I’d love to return to this cozy cottage!

Drew’s place was cozy very clean and overall wonderful with a great location just 15-20 min outside of Downtown Waco. Will be staying here again and recommend to others.

Beautiful cottage. Great peaceful stay in a quiet location. It was perfect for our one night stay with two young adult children. They stayed in the twin loft beds upstairs. Will be back again !

This was a beautiful home with a modern cottage feel. The natural surroundings were like being in a tree house. Loved the separate deck with a river view.

This cabin was cozy and conveniently located to our event we were attending. Very clean so a plus in my book! Unfortunately We didn’t get a chance to venture out and explore we just needed a place to lay our heads and shower. Host is very responsive. All good things 😊

Jimmy and Andra’s lodge just outside Waco was awesome! It’s a well maintained, clean, rustic cottage with all the amenities needed for your trip. The owners go over and above providing a bottle of wine and venison jerky as well. The view of the farm was nice to sit on the back patio and enjoy. I would recommend this unique property to anyone visiting Waco. It’s a quick and easy drive into town.

I enjoyed my stay. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Sitting on top of the tiny container was so relaxing. My favorite part was the visit from a little road runner bird. It came by three times on my last day.

I can't say enough good about this villa. It was relaxing and just what my wife and I needed for a quick getaway. We will definitely visit again.
