Or hop on the Highway 1/3 mile away. 3.5 miles to Airport, 30 to Redwood National & State Parks. We’ll share walls so you’ll sometimes hear me, though I try to be a considerate neighbor. We are an urban homestead complete with a permaculture-inspired garden, chickens, and bees we invite you to enjoy. We provide our guests with eggs, milk, coffee, tea, pastries and fruit. All our cleaning products are non-toxic. The Arcata Community forest where you can enjoy a peaceful stroll or an active long run is just down the street. Our home is close to the beach, downtown Arcata, and Humboldt State University. You’ll love our location, your hosts, the views, and our garden.

Potter’s Two Room Suite in the Redwoods

Two room suite in the trees has everything you’ll need for a relaxing and fun stay. Private entrance from our new outdoor staircase and deck into the living room and a well equipped mini kitchen. There’s a comfortable full size futon that can be used if needed with extra bedding provided. The private bathroom with shower and tub are right next door. The bedroom is in the attached 2nd room with a comfy queen sized bed. We live in the house too. You’ll feel like you’re in a treehouse.

Azalea Reserve Upstairs Suite

Relax and unwind in beautiful Northern CA in this updated, chic apartment. Nestled in nature, this property boarders Azalea Reserve, which in spring is filled with fragrant pale orange and pink blooming azaleas. On the second story, this modern abode has an expansive view out of the big windows and off the wrap around deck. Cook delicious meals in the updated kitchen while socializing with the family over appetizers and playing games at the dining table.
