Great location and the pool and fire pit were the perfect amenities to end a day of riding! The host was very responsive and made planning our trip, getting trail passes, check in, and check out seamless. We couldn’t find any extra supplies at the house (ie paper towels, trash bags, etc.) so recommend bringing some of the day to day basics with you. Would definitely recommend to others!

We Had a very good experience staying here as a group of 11 planty of room cozy house hot tub felt great after a whole day or riding the trails.

This place exceeded our expectations. It came with more amenities than I've ever had at a cabin. It was clean, the linens smelled freshly washed, floors and surfaces were clean. Randy and his crew were super helpful and friendly, letting us know where to go to find trails to ride. The store is on site and is stocked with all the things you'll need. Gas is on site as well. I can't say enough good about this place! We will definitely stay again if we plan on coming to this area.

Host was easy to work with and responsive. If you are looking for a place to stay to ride the HMT, this is it. Well set up house, wash station, plenty of parking for trailers, easy access to almost all of the trail systems and access to the Outlaw trails. And a pool to relax in after a day riding! This will be our go to place for HMT trips!

For large accommodations this is the place to go. Couple of local gems for restaurants that had amazing food. For our large group of 18 including 7 SXS we had plenty of room in the house and parking. Would definitely recommend and we will probably re-book!

Great host! They help manage an ATV/SxS shop right in town. If they don’t have what you need, they will help you find it at other local shops.

David was an excellent host. He was quick to reply to all questions and was so polite every time we reached out.

All the amenities like home , work trip was a close commute. Got great rest ! Host was very responsive and kind . Would highly recommend !!

The home was perfect, the location is great for trail riding. It's a short distance to a couple of nice burger/pizza joints as well as grocery stores. Mary and Rick are quick to respond and were attentive to whatever needs or questions we had. It was a well needed weekend getaway and the home was the icing on the cake. we hope to be back for more trail riding soon!

This was our first stay at Covel Cabin, and it was a blast. Shelby was so responsive and available at all times for any of our crazy questions. Our trip was not long after the horrible storm but Shelby and Kam made sure the yard and house were cleaned up very nice prior to our arrival. The picture wall, in the game room is a great plus! The new home renovations were to die for😍 and always a plus they are dog friendly. We will most definitely be back to Covel Cabin 🏔️

We stayed here couple years ago they have done a few things mainly parking is great the area is good also not much to besides the atv trails that are super close and the reason why we were there

Four of us stayed for the weekend to ride the Hatfield-McCoy Trails. The house had plenty of room for us and we enjoyed our stay. There is not much to do in Welch other than ride trails. The trains and trucks heading through town can also be loud at night.

We’ve stayed in the area many times, but this house was by far the most peaceful! We felt right at home and had everything we needed for our stay. The grill and fire pit were great and the kitchen was well prepared for all the meals we made. We enjoyed sitting riverside and relaxing at the house, as well as easy access to the Warrior Trails. We also were able to trailer within 1-2 hours from Ivy Branch, Bearwallow and Rockhouse. We are already planning our next trip back! Thanks again for everything!

ATV riders, there is plenty of space to park. Enough space for two 18 wheelers. Clean home and quite neighborhood. Water hose and washer/dryer combo are not avaiable to clean your gear after a muddy day on the trails.

Thank you for letting us stay at your place. We had 8 people and there was plenty of room for everyone, and parking was great. Thank you again. We will definitely be back.

The place was great. We had easy access to trails in Indian ridge, Pinnacle, and Pocahontas. We didnt have time to try our warrior. We will definitely be back again!

Great place to stay! There were 6 beds and a couch, plenty of room for our crew of HMT riders. Located right at the edge of Welch. We were able to ride off in different directions to hit some iconic landmarks like Riders Paradise, Beer Can Alley, Wilmore Dam, The View, etc... The house was nice and clean. Well equipped for us to make our own meals but also close to some local restaurants. A nice sized gravel lot with parking for at least 4 trucks and trailers. If you've got a big truck you're best off to back down Lake Dr. into the parking area. A firepit in the graveled lot area with room for everyone to sit around it. A covered porch sit under if its raining. Great place to stay for HMT trail riders.
