Jake was very accommodating. With the Hurricane destruction that had occurred, Jake still went out of his way to make sure myself and the guests were heard and seen and made to feel safe.

We enjoyed this beautiful home, peaceful area, and lovely views from the porch and dock. AMAZING fall colors and sunsets. Kelly is kind and responsive, and the home has so many amenities to ensure guests are comfortable and feel at home. Plenty of space to gather as a group or relax in a quiet spot for coffee and reflection. We reserved for our daughter to participate in the Fonta Flora 50K at nearby Lake James State Park. That was postponed, so we were able to volunteer at the park with other race participants to help clear and reroute trails in the state park. We were welcomed with friendly, open arms by restaurant and shop owners in the quaint cities of Marion and Black Mountain. So good to see and experience people loving each other and helping to rebuild after the hurricane. Definitely will return!!

Our stay at the Lakeside Pagoda was INCREDIBLE! Our group of girls had the best weekend swimming in the lake, eating dinners on the porch, and having our coffees in the morning watching the sunrise. The house is in a quiet neighborhood that had plenty of parking and was easy to find. Comfy beds, lots of games and activities, plenty of seating, and everything we could have needed.

This was our first time to Lake James and we are definitely coming back! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs. It was very clean and had everything in great supply. Like others have written, the house is bigger than the pics let on. Susan was proactive with making sure we had the address, codes, etc before we arrived and very responsive if we had a question. All in all, it was a great time with the family!

The house was beautiful and clean! The surrounding area is breathtaking in the fall, and we really enjoyed the back patio. We visited about a month after the massive flooding in the area, and the host was very communicative and proactive. I'd highly recommend this location if you're looking to get away.

Serenity Summit is a mountain gem! The 4 bedrooms are spaced out across the house and there are three living spaces to relax in. Open kitchen with everything we needed. Hosts were so kind and responsive to our questions and needs. There was plenty of parking space for our family coming together for our daughter’s wedding. The home is located in a gorgeous gated community with incredible views of the mountains. But…..If your husband’s dress shirt, as Father of the Bride, wasn’t packed and you realize the night before at 9:40pm…..FYI the closest Walmart is 37 minutes away and thankfully doesn’t close until 11:00. We definitely plan to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the incredible outdoor living areas at the house and the lake in the neighborhood. Thank you for your hospitality Victoria!
