We had a few minor issues due to us being the first people to stay here for the season, but Jennifer responded immediately anytime I messaged her to resolve anything. She even had her husband and son come help me with the gas fireplace. House was extremely spacious, the pictures do not do it justice. Unfortunately the pool was closed due to it being winter, but we are excited to come back and stay again when the weather is warmer.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. We had a lovely dinner out on the back patio. We didn’t have any issues and everything we needed was there at the house. It was within driving distance of the grocery store and anything that we needed. We were very comfortable.

It’s always a pleasure staying at Tami‘s. This was my fourth time. I stay there when I come to visit my granddaughter, daughter and son-in-law as it is the closest location. It offers everything you could possibly want and a few delicious extras like those donuts she leaves. The swingset outside is a plus as my granddaughter absolutely loves swinging. Tami allowed me to have her stay overnight several times. She is very accommodating to anything you need. Highly recommended.

The house was very well presented and was one of the best rentals I have personally stayed at. Everything was where it should be and very clean. We recommend this peoperty and will definitely be back.

Everything about our weekend was AWESOME! It felt like a home away from home and we will most definitely stay here again while visiting our Murray State University Football Player! Great accommodations worth the ride from Murray! Also, Matthew was the best, most responsive owner ever!

I came to Paducah to work with the police department. Kevin's property is very convenient to downtown. The house is amazing with high ceilings, fixtures and paintings that fit a bygone era, but with all the modern conveniences that weren't available in the mid-1800s when this heritage home was built. I did not venture upstairs, but I'm certain that everything upstairs would have been just as clean and interesting as the rest of this amazing house. When you step back in time by going through the massive front door, you find yourself in a foyer with a sitting room that was perfectly suited to the mid-1800s. I marveled at how the modern A/C, appliances, and plumbing had been tastefully integrated with such a historic setting. The fact that the owner is an architect makes perfect sense. I slept in the back bedroom and the bed was very comfortable and adorned with high quality pillows and bedding. It was quiet every evening and I had fantastic sleep each night. I highly recommend.

I never realized how quiet, how large and how cute of a town Paducah really is. Such a neat town with loads of history and tons to do. Ella’s home…it’s perfect. If it were for sale, I’d buy it. I have stayed at a lot of places during my travels for work and this is easily the neatest home I have stayed at. It was perfect.

Top notch accessories. This was obviously owned by an individual who outfitted it like their own house.

This is my second stay at this Airbnb and I see myself staying many years to come every time I travel to this area this will be my go to Airbnb

Beautiful home decorated with local artwork and nice antique pieces. The backyard is quite peaceful especially early morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Marian was extremely helpful and kind.

Stopped for one night on a road trip. Perfect place for what we needed. We found the menus for local restaurants in the kitchen and used a coffee place called Etcetera the next morning and it was great.

Erika’s place was perfect for our family of four. Everything was very clean and the home was perfect for the two nights we spent there.

This is our second visit to the Shotgun House… and hopefully not the last! We LOVE this house, and Kevin is a great host. On a practical note, the riverfront area of Paducah is a lovely 15minute walk down the road, and there’s a Dollar General two blocks away.
