Lovely house in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Andrew was super helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. The house was so private and tranquil, really good space to get away from it all. Would highly recommend.

Knights cottage is a beautiful original cottage which has been updated to a high standard with everything you would need for a comfortable stay, including utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer,well equipped kitchen and large bedrooms. Very homely, warm with beautiful views of Lough Mask, within a few minutes walk away. We stayed as a family of 5 for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thankyou Maura for being so accommodating and welcoming.

We had a family break March 2025. 12 family members, the accommodation was perfect for us. Great kitchen/dining room for socialising/eating. Never felt on top of each other 6 of the bedrooms had en-suite shower room and there was also a downstairs cloakroom off of the main hall. All of the 5 double bedrooms downstairs had en-suites and one of the double bedrooms upstairs. We all loved coming back 'home' after a day out. Great outside facilities, plently of logs for the sauna, hot tub. Excvellent views. Beautiful stary skies on clear nights with zero light polution! Will be staying again, already planning our 2026 stay! Marian was extremely responsive both before and duting our stay, as was the local caretaker who responded almost immediatley to a maintenance request we had during our stay

I absolutely cannot praise this cottage or this host enough. Set in a secluded country location with scenic views whilst also being little more than 10 minutes drive from the nearby large town, the cottage itself is deceptively spacious, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. Andrea is a warm friendly host, quick to reply to messages. The unexpected extras that were provided brought a smile to the face of a weary traveller. Overall: above excellent

Just back home from our golf/ fishing trip to Aisling. I have to say it was amazing. The house is modern and spotless. The location is out of this world. We were blessed with the weather which helped. The house has its own private pier for lake boats with ample garden lovely shrubbery and trees surrounding. Location is great base also for golf courses in the Galway/ Mayo area also. Andy was extremely helpful from booking to checking out. He gave some excellent tips of where to go on the lake and catch fish! Can’t say enough about how enjoyable our time at the house was. We will certainly be returning!! Thank you Andy!

We had a fantastic family holiday in Doohoma . The house had everything we needed for a large family gathering ( 11 and a baby) and was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The house was very well equipped with cooking utensils and essential kitchen supplies. It was lovely to have the warm fire in the cold evenings. The surrounding area is wonderful, such a beautiful part of Mayo. There are gorgeous beaches and cliff walks within 30 minutes drive. The beach at Doohoma Head is a very short drive or a leisurely walk away and stunning . There is also a golf course and football pitch beside it. We walked to both the Searod Inn and the Tra Bui which are both highly recommended. The pool table in the Sea Rod was a great hit with the young ones. We also had a lovely meal in the Sea Rod. Keith was attentive during our stay and check-in was very easy with the key safe. Would love to return . Thank you Owen and Keith.

Margaret is an amazing host and the house is fabulous! We all felt right at home, the place was very clean, cosy, had everything we needed and was very warm and comfortable.

Absolutely gorgeous house and grounds, like something from a postcard. Everything you could need was in the house. House is bright and spotlessly clean. Great location. Handy adventure centre in the hotel a five minute walk from the house. Margaret is a fantastic host who made sure we had a great trip. Thank you Margaret. The Mancunian girls will come again!

Logement était superbe ! Une vue sur le lac exceptionnelle, à côté de toutes les activités désirées. Seulement à quatre minutes de l’abbaye, le logement est très calme, très paisible, nous avons très bien dormi, super moment, décoré avec goût et surtout très propre ! Merci encore.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay in Isobel’s 2 bedroom apartment (1 double with ensuite & 1 twin with a full bathroom next to it). The apartment was spotless and we appreciated the little extras which were left by Isobel including bread milk & chocolate bars. Isobel’s welcome on arrival and her recommendations for food locations were very good and she also explained the lovely short-cut to town through Westport House which was very helpful. Thanks very much Isobel, we had a very memorable time in Westport and it’s also well located to visit other lovely places including Mulranny & Achill so we hope to go back to stay there again soon.

What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. We had the best time and if in this area (which is stunning in general) we will be back HERE. There was even coffee, I couldn’t wish for more (as I didn’t know what kind of machine I didn’t buy in advance) and water in the fridge, clear and super friendly communication, lovely hosts, the view!! You can only stay and enjoy this place!

Carmel war super freundlich, wir wurden mit einer Flasche Wein empfangen zur Begrüßung, Tee,Kaffe,Nudeln alles vorhanden. Küche perfekte Ausstattung, gemütliche Wohnung mit Möglichkeiten zum Feuer machen. Total ruhige Lage. Wir konnten draußen sitzen. Gute Ausgangslage um den wunderschönen Flecken der Erde zu erkunden. Alle Menschen waren super freundlich . Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und täglich fangfrischen Fisch zu kaufen. Wir hoffen nochmals wiederkommen zu dürfen. Nochmals ein Dankeschön an Carmel !

Absolutely fantastic apartment. Mark was a brilliant host with great communication from start to finish. The apartment is in a private complex and absolutely perfect. All the essentials were provided which was great and everywhere was lovely and clean. Huge balcony area with lovely views. Bonus for us was that it was pet friendly too. Private secure parking and you are so close to plenty of shops, restaurants and take aways. Aldi and Tesco nearby too. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay.

Our stay with Regina was wonderful it's a great little get away; nice, peaceful, relaxing and great views all around. Regina was the perfect host greeting us at the door making us feel very welcomed, giving us tips on what to do in the local area and leaving us some of her signature scones to enjoy. I would highly recommend staying with Regina.

The Boley House is perfect for families who are visiting Achill Island. The house is spacious and located within walking distances to shops, restaurants, and pubs. Noreen is the perfect host who supplied fresh eggs, rashers, sausages and puddings for my family to make a traditional Irish breakfast. This also included homemade brown bread. On several occasions Noreen dropped off freshly made cookies and breads. Just a perfect host!!

Nora's place is phenomenal and you will have missed out at one of the best views in Ireland. This area is a nature lovers paradise. This is our 3rd time to Ireland and I had a top 5 list of places we have stayed and Nora's has definitely moved into my top tier of this list. DO NOT miss out on this beautiful cottage and property, I promise, you won't regret it!

Wir haben die Ruhe und die schöne Umgebung sehr genossen. Das Cottage hilft einem dabei, den gewohnten Alltag zu vergessen. Der Blick aus den Fenstern ist in alle Richtungen besonders! Man blickt entweder auf Berge, Loch Coulin, Kühe oder Schafe. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Informationen sind sehr ausführlich - doch wir haben es auch nicht geschafft, den schnellsten Weg auf den Mount Gable/Binn Shléibhe zu finden. Wir sehen aber das Herumirren - das auch von anderen Gästen dokumintiert wurde - als lustiges Abenteuer an, das zu diesem Aufenthalt dazugehört ;)

La maison est à quelques minutes de voiture de Clifden. Mary communique toutes les informations nécessaires pour le trouver. C’est un logement magnifique qui est situé en pleine nature. Un beau lac est à proximité et visible depuis la maison. Il est bien équipé et très spacieux. On peut faire facilement de la cuisine pour tous les repas. Les chambres sont spacieuses et dotées d’une salle de bain chacune. Mary a été très attentionnée à notre arrivée et durant le reste de notre séjour. Elles nous a donnés beaucoup d’informations utiles sur les commerces aux alentours. Nous recommandons ce logement parce qu’il a répondu à nos besoins (famille de 4 personnes) On recommande pour sa proximité de nombreux sites touristiques comme kylemore, le parc du Connemara ou la Skyroad. Pour finir, nous recommandons aussi pour la bonne entente avec notre hôte. Ce fut une bonne expérience qui donne envie de revenir. Merci

What a charming place! We loved staying here.

The house is lovely, and the setting is great. One house up from Keel beach, with its labyrinth and waterfall and beautiful low tide walks. Sit in the living room and watch the sheep eat grass and the clouds roll in over the bay. Pretty well equipped kitchen and the hosts offered to loan us anything else we might need to cook full meals, which we did. Bed was really comfortable and pretty quiet at night. Maybe just cuz the local kids are home from college this week, there were loud vehicles driving on the beach one night. Otherwise, dark and peaceful. Super friendly and helpful hosts, would stay here again.
