A place of the heart, lovingly restored preserving the ancient beams of the roof. A wonderful view from the large windows and a special tranquility for those in search of peace, warmth and relaxation. The furniture is very nice: wood above all, but also more lively colors, and modern comforts. Quiet excursions, both on snowshoes or ski.

Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

We have restructured our grandparents’ home and we would like to offer you an experience characterized by simplicity and hospitality, to understand and appreciate the value of the family we grew up with. We have combined tradition and design, maintaining the original structure of the house and re-using the materials available in the old house . “La Casa dell’Arco” prende il nome dall’arco di ingresso, elemento tipico dell’architettura di Frassinetto, che caratterizza questa abitazione storica. Il suo nucleo più antico risale presumibilmente al XIII – XIV secolo. L’unità è composta da tre ambienti curati nel dettaglio per riscoprire la calda atmosfera delle case alpine. There is public transport, but I would recommend coming by car. A parking lot is provided for you. note: the bathtub is currently out of order. There is no AC as there are generally no ACs in most Swiss Apartments due to how hard it is to obtain permits for them.
