The home was easy to find and very clean. We loved the beachfront and peaceful surroundings. We've been to Gloucester before and it is a cute little place to explore and has what you need. I would definitely choose this airbnb again if in the area! Thank you for sharing!

Our family Thanksgiving was great! What a beautiful home with a breathtaking view of the water!! Just waking up each day with that beautiful sunrise over the water was wonderful to see. What a hidden gem! Everything you possibly have needed was provided in the home. The fireplace was very nice especially on those cold evenings! We can't wait to return! Stayed here for a weekend fishing trip. Everything was great! Very serene and beautiful surroundings, the house fully equipped with everything you need to go fishing. We even went out of our comfort zone and tried out the canoes. It was an all-around good experience. The location is not too far from beaches great restaurants, and also a casino. For a small intimate family gathering. The Host sent an extensive and well thought out list of everything you can think of, from to how to get there & what to do when you’re there also he was very responsive.

What a magical place! ✨ I cannot say enough about what an incredible location this property is on -- right on the water, incredible views, very private feeling, the smells and sounds of nature. The property itself is one of the most beautiful and well-appointed properties I've ever stayed on. Everything is pristine and organized in such a way as to express genuine care and appreciation for any guests who stay there. I didn't know I wanted toilet paper origami, but now I do! The kitchen was beautiful and all supplies were in such good condition. The bathrooms all had everything anyone might need plus more for those who might've forgotten one or two items -- that's so appreciated! The vents in the bathrooms take a moment to spin up, so give them time; they're quite powerful! The screened-in porch AND the outdoor porch are so nice, and face that incredible view that I mentioned earlier. All in all, this is the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. This beautifully decorated cottage was everything we had hoped for. It was so peaceful and offered so much fun for our family.

There is nothing more serene than waking up in the ‘crab shack’ with the sunrise. What a comfortable and scenic spot. Even our dog, Juno, loved it! Took a sunset sail to celebrate a birthday and got front pier service! Our host, Carlisle, was extremely attentive and kind with any needs we had or hadn’t thought of. Wish we had booked longer. We hope to return very soon!!

We had a great long weekend stay. The house was spacious and well appointed. We loved sitting outside under the stars and playing with the kids in the sunroom. Was such a nice touch to have kids toys at the house and lots of space to gather. We had one issue with the HVAC but each space had a window AC unit and the host was super helpful and responsive. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

What a perfect cottage! Beautifully (but comfortably) furnished, right on the water, incredibly well-stocked. Arranged so families can spread out, or gather together. Everything you could possibly require or desire for a vacation or getaway was there. And the area is full of things to do--walks, birdwatching, antiquing, or, if you're an architecture geek like me, historic sites and buildings. You're also a 3-minute walk from the best restaurant on the Northern Neck, Merroir Tasting Room. Can't wait to come back.

Wonderful place to stay with beautiful access to the river, I am so grateful I was able to spend my weekend here! Ned and Holly were responsive and everything was provided that I needed. Very kid-friendly so I hope to return with my toddler some day :)

I cannot find the words to express our families stay. When I say this was the best stay at an ABNB we have had thus far it was. The outside itself from the landscaping to the scenery was breathtaking. Checking in was a breeze. Once inside pictures cannot begin to show the beauty of this property. The hosts have really thought through a guest experience. They went over and beyond hosts duties adding extreme attention to details. Anything and everything you may need or want for your stay was there. Even with all the extra amenities and the beauty of the home our family instantly felt at home. We loved our stay so much we have already booked our next stay.

The home sits on a nice point of land at the end of a quiet road. It is a nice mix of early 20th century charm and modern with spacious living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. The living room and large deck allow unobstructed views of the water. The home is well-kept, clean, and includes everything you need for a pleasant getaway. And, it is a short (10 min.) drive to the shops and restaurants in Kilmarnock. A relaxing, recommended stay.

Spotless and well organized with plenty of room. We will definitely rent again.
