Our property is totally eco-friendly; all electricity is generated from the sun, we catch rain water and have our own environmentally-friendly waste-water system. Enjoy the peace and tranquility, unwind whilst surrounded by the sounds of the bush, birdsong and the gentle sounds of our farm animals. The studio is also fully equipped, including air conditioning for those hot summer days.

Just a 15 minute scenic drive from Maleny you will find peace and tranquility staying in the self contained garden studio here in our pretty forest setting. Wake up to the sound of birdsong and enjoy the many varied feathered friends that call this place home in addition to wallabies, kangaroos, possums, bandicoots, echidnas and even the occasional koala. Some of the more regular visitors being a variety of honeyeaters, yellow robins , king parrots , rainbow lorikeets and fairy wrens.

Our property is a working horse property with 3 goats and a miniature pony, called Jerry.

Outside is a large wrap around deck with direct access from both bedrooms, large table for entertaining, BBQ and a bar table which is the perfect position to sit with a morning coffee. There is also a large fire pit that you are free to use and cook on.

The forest cabin is a beautiful hand crafted hardwood cabin. Handmade from recycled and locally sourced products. A dedicated driveway and yard ensure your privacy. Backing onto lush forest is home to many birds and native animals and plants. An indoor fireplace and outside fire circle will keep you cosy during your stay, all firewood provided. Beyond the private yard, we live with our 2 young boys and little old friendly dog.
