Absolutely stunning cabin! My hubby and I chose this quaint cabin in the woods for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! We loved the outdoors campfire/BBQ facility. We got to see the aurora borealis above the cabin at night. Overall such a nice, clean and perfect cabin for 2 people.

Ken was extremely helpful and responsive. Best host I've ever had! The place was clean and comfortable, with great beds, a spacious kitchen, and a wonderful lounging area. There is some construction in the area that we periodically heard, and there is a ventilation system in the house that is always on (slight fan noise throughout) so those are a couple things to keep in mind if you are sensitive to sounds. However, we felt safe and welcome!

Our stay at the Hobo Place was nothing short of magical. Nestled by the lake with breathtaking mountain views, it offered the perfect escape into nature. The scenery alone would have made the trip worthwhile, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was Peter’s incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, Peter made us feel at home and made sure we had everything we needed. But the real highlight? Basil, his friendly and lovable dog, who decided to sleep in our room on the first night. It was such a sweet and unexpected welcome, adding to the cozy and relaxed vibe of the place. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views, warm hospitality, and the best four-legged companion, the Hobo Place is a must-visit. We can’t wait to return!

The craftsmanship and warmth made it feel so cosy, and the stunning surroundings were the perfect escape. We were incredibly lucky to witness an unforgettable aurora display in the middle of the night, making our short two-day stay even more special. A beautiful spot for a change of pace and the best place to take in breathtaking scenery. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Kathleen's place was absolutely amazing! The place was very clean when we got there and Kathleen even took the time to come in and show us how to work the heater and showed us around the house! 10/10 would recommend to anyone and will definitely be booking in the future with her again!

Very good place to stay. Feel like home. Good room, kitchen area and living room. Not too big everything, but as for cabin (guest house) is enough. Great host. Well communication. Good location. Recommend to bring the food which is not required to cook or heat in the oven as it's a bit old and don't reach required temperature (pretty low).

Beautiful off grid cabin in a stunning location overlooking Fish Lake. Easy access to hiking, skiing, etc. Nice view from the wood fired sauna, too.

Well stocked kitchen and lovely surrounding. I highly recommend as a restful stop for travels around Yukon. It served as a perfect space for a family of 4 to unwind after long drives.

Maria’s place was great! She was very welcoming and hospitable for a last minute reservation. The place was private and secluded and is the perfect place to stay. Thank you!
