There is a tiny garden boasting with mediterranean plants we are very proud of. You can sit in front of the house and drink your coffe here or have a glass of wine before going out. And that is a rare thing inside the walls as you'll discover. Located inside the stone walls of the Old Town, Dubrovnik, in the Karmen area (just above the Old Town Port ) this is one of the first and oldest parts of Dubrovnik. In front of our house are the remnants of renaissance Dubrovnik that was ruined in a great 17 th century earthquaqe. We are inside the walls, but 5 minutes from main street - Stradun -and that makes the whole difference - beacuse it means quiet in the night and not over crowded during the day but you'll be steps away from everything...the restaurants, coffee shops, the boat for beautiful Lokrum island( just under the house is the City Port), Porporela beach, Banje and Buža beaches... This is one of the oldest houses within the walls of the Old town of Dubrovnik, written documents say it has survived the Great earthquake in 1667. Down the street Od sigurate there is a monastery within there is one of the oldest small churches which dates back to 11th century (40 meters from the apartment). Main Street Stradun is just 70 meters away at the bottom of the street Od sigurate. Franciscan Monastery, Sponza palace, Orlando statue, St. Blaise's Church, Rector's Palace.
