Great place for a quiet, peaceful getaway and great hosts!

This was by far the best trip my wife and I have ever taken. We were able to totally disconnect and spend time with one another. April and Daniel really made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay the most comfortable it could be. We’re looking forward to returning in the near future!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The Airbnb feels like a secluded mountain retreat, but is still within reasonable distance to the city. Beautiful views, and while we weren’t able to find time to use the hot tub, that was an excellent amenity. The hosts communicated well and we’re accommodating to our requests! Would absolutely stay here again, especially as a getaway!

We stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and absolutely loved it. Even in January it was beautiful and we enjoyed the walking trails and the hot tub. The house was clean and well decorated. I will definitely be staying in this area again in the warmer months.

Excellent place, close to many beautiful parks. A couple of restaurants very close by was a nice surprise for us. Highly recommend staying at this great home!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as pictured and more roomy than we expected. Everything was very was clean, well kept and equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. We loved the back deck it was a great place to chill in the evenings. We can’t wait to come back.

Charles and Ruthie are wonderful hosts who truly care about their guests. Charles is incredibly responsive and always quick to take care of any maintenance issues. He gets things done efficiently and without hassle. But it is Ruthie who brings the heart. She is the absolute embodiment of Southern hospitality. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, she makes you feel right at home. Her kindness is not just surface level. It is the kind that sticks with you long after your stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to other guests. If you are looking for a place that feels both comfortable and cared for, this is it.

Tina’s place was perfect for our family! The pictures do not do it justice. Everything was just as described but even better than we expected! We brought 4 dogs along with us. The fenced gates on the front and back porches along with the fenced yard were perfect for them to run around and play. Even though we have vacationed in Monteagle at least 10 times, we used her book of recommendations to try out different activities and places to visit. This vacation away from everything is just what our family needed. Not listed in the description was that the TVs can be used to log into your streaming services. This made our stay extra comfortable! We will definitely be back!

This bnb was very lovely and perfect size for our family of 4 + 1 (dog). We are Mitzi on the way in and enjoyed her bright smile and outgoing hospitality. We especially enjoyed the fire flies, shiny star, and donkey- Sparks in the back yard. Beautiful surrounding and convince location to hit all the gorgeous waterfalls.

Great place for my wife and I to spend a long weekend. Walkable to trails (and a coffee shop and restaurant/bar) in a nice neighborhood. Perfect amount of space and nice. Would definitely stay again.

Great home! Quiet! Very safe neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Comfy beds! Functional kitchen for cooking in. The restaurant that’s within walking distance was closed during our visit …but when it’s open, that’s a huge plus as it could cut down on travel. Just over an hour to Nashville… the lake was just coming back to life from the winter. Will definitely return! Great game room for kids to play! The basketball game was a hit!

Beautiful, cozy home in a nice, safe and well-kept neighborhood. Beautiful surroundings, that brings such a sense of peace! Kim was an amazing host. She was very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond. We will definitely be back on our next vacation!

Bryan Cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in Dayton. Older house with modern feel. Beds, bathrooms and living areas were very nice and comfortable. the front porch was perfect for some fresh air and even to see the double rainbow after an afternoon rain shower. Also, was within walking distance to the lake and fishing areas. We were there for a soccer tournament at NACA. We love the outdoors. Went to the Laurel and Snow falls area. We were not able to make it all the way to the falls due to time constraints but there are plenty of cool photo ops for the first 30-40 minutes for the hike. Beautiful river and small falls along the way. Also visited Wildcat Hollow Falls in Graysville. Very quiet and secluded hike. Not as nice of scenery as Laurel Falls area but still nice. Again, due to time constraints, we were unable to make it all the way to the falls. Would also highly recommend taking a 45-50 trip to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Beautiful area and awesome waterfalls.

A nice peaceful escape. Not too secluded or too busy, it was a nice retreat that brought back memories of visiting grandma and grandpa’s house in a warm and inviting way.

For a cozy cottage, the rooms were spacious. The neighborhood felt very safe and conveniently close to downtown. My guests were adults, but this could really work for a family with kids. It is pretty but doesn’t have a lot of breakables kids might break. The kitchen was well-equipped. The host was very responsive and I will recommend to friends.

The River House is in a beautiful, peaceful place right on the river with birdsong choruses in the mornings and evenings. When we were there, we could hear a small, rushing brook. The house has tremendous charm and there were a lot of nice touches to make guests feel very welcome! We were in Chattanooga for work and I couldn’t wait to be back there at the end of the day. The Sewanee “Cottage” — really a spacious, rambling house — is a perfect place to stay while visiting the college. Everything is walkable from the house, because it’s squarely on campus, though it feels quiet and private once you’re inside. (If you walk a block or two on a weekend night, you might hear the college kids partying, but all you hear from the house is birdsong.) The kitchen is well-appointed, the bedrooms are comfy, and the living room and other common areas are full of funky charm. Check-in and check-out were easy. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is just beautiful! It is so serene and not one detail was missed. Everything is perfectly clean, decorated and labeled. The beds and pillows were super comfortable too. It felt just like home to us! We really enjoyed our mornings on the porch watching the wildlife. We even saw deer and an adorable groundhog! Check in was a breeze with our great host! Would absolutely love to visit again and will definitely recommend to anyone we know heading to this area!
