Farmstead Cottage in Hudson Valley

This cozy cottage along with two barns was once part of a a working farm. Hand-hewn original oak post and beam construction is exposed; it gives the cottage and its cathedral ceilings, a light drenched airy ambience. Equipped with a full kitchen, one gets the country rustic atmosphere without forfeiting modern conveniences. The reclaimed wood siding in the bedroom catches the early morning light reflections of the sunrise. Hand-crafted details abound, the cabinetry, hand-made glass, and photography add accents to the decor. The bucolic surroundings are a great place for respite. One can relax in our perennial gardens or sit in the shade of the one hundred year old wooden barn amongst the hummingbirds and barn swallows. At night sit on our deck and enjoy a starry night or moon shadows without street-lighting to impede the night sky. Located in Stone Ridge, we are only minutes away from the historic village center which is convenient for restaurants, groceries, wine, and farm fresh products. At the same time, we are located on a quiet country road. Our landscape is peppered with horse farms, corn fields and even an alpaca farm! Did you know that the New York Senate resided in Stone Ridge back in the early days for a short bout after the burning of Kingston? Nestled between the breathtaking views of the Shawangunk Ridge and the Catskill Mountains; numerous hiking, biking, world- renowned rock climbing, horse riding, fly-fishing and kayaking possibilities abound. Farm to table, antiques, local produce and fruit picking are amongst only a few other great activities. Winter sports include ice climbing, cross country and downhill skiing. Parking and Wifi are included. A stocked kitchen, a ceiling fan, wireless bluetooth speakers, and hairdryer are additional amenities. Outdoor amenities include a charcoal barbeque, a bistro table and chairs, and fresh herbs to pick when in season! We are registered in Ulster County as a vacation rental and a 2% County Occupancy Tax is included in the price.

Catskills Getaway w/AC on 3 Acres near Woodstock

You have the whole house and three acres to enjoy. The two bedrooms are upstairs, with skylights and a bright, airy feel to them. The wood burning stove is an awesome way to make things cozy. There's also a firepit and grill you're welcome to use. Guests have complete access to the home and three-acre property. The garage on the property is inaccessible by guests. We're available to contact anytime. Hike, ski, swim, bike, do yoga, or whatever comes to mind— all is possible in the Catskills. The Ashokan reservoir bike/walk path is a few miles down the road. Not far the other way is Marty's Mercantile for coffee, lunch, and basic supplies. There's plenty of parking in the driveway. Don't expect to Uber while up here. The Lily Cottage Guesthouse

Nestled amongst the trees below Bonticou Crag this is a great base camp for climbing, hiking and biking. Five minutes from New Paltz; I do recommend having a car to access the area. Shared yard and fire pit right outside. My family and I live in the main part of the house. The outside area and house are still under construction, I’m working on it but its not put together yet. The apartment and inside area are clean and newly built with their own mini split and air circulation.
