Only 25km away from Baia Mare, close to the Somes river left shore, in a rural environment, with a fish pond in our back yard, our place is open for people that appreciate quiet and great views. We have 2 bedroms with confortable queen size beds, in different designs. The upstairs one is rustic and the one down stairs has a nordic design. You can also use the livingroom with everything in it. There are even wine glasses. You can cook, eat, wach cable TV or use the tv for it's smart functions.

Our small location is in the middle of historical Maramures, in the charming village of Breb, where time has stood still and the locals still celebrate Sundays and holidays in traditional costumes and live according to the rhythm of nature. Casa Mica is over one century old and has a beautiful story. It has one twin bedroom (and a bathroom) upstairs, and one bed/sofa in the living room. You have the whole house to yourselves and a fully equipped kitchen. You could spend evenings by the fireplace, or relax during daytime in the hammock. On arrival, you will find a welcome pack, consisting in locally sourced products (bread, milk, eggs, cheese, jams, vegetables, fruits). Coffee, teas, and palinca are there for you to enjoy.

We are a young family that runs this hostel, we open this business in 2015, and since then we try to make this place more friendly and cozy. The hostel is decorated in modern and traditional influences and we are trying to keep alive the traditions of this wonderful place. We are based at 20 km to the mountain, and the view makes this place more nice.
