Bird's Nest – Charming Sunny Family House

Bird's Nest is a private sunny family house surrounded by a secluded peaceful garden with lots of trees and birds. A perfect place to relax and rest with your family while exploring the Abel Tasman Nationalpark, the Great Taste Cycle Trail or the Richmond Hills. The Richmond Hills have lots of walking and mountain bike trails with fantastic views over the Tasman Bay. Rabbit Island with its wonderful beach and spectacular scenery is also a great place to enjoy the day and just 15 min away by car.

We welcome you to come stay on the boundaries of the Abel Tasman on our farm and amongst the nature and soak up the view of the Abel Tasman Foothills and Tasman Bay Ocean views. This is an old school 1 bedroom Bach with an amazing kitchen and living room centred round a cozy fireplace. Stay includes free unlimited Wifi with full kitchen and bathroom. The main reception is just 300m away for any help or local advise. The legendary Park Cafe is just down the road 100m.

'Atatū' means "dawn" - our favourite time at the property, when the sun travels across the sea to outline the hills and all is peaceful. Atatū is a great base for outdoor adventures in the three National Parks nearby, wine-tasting in local vineyards, olive grove picnics, gallery visits or delicious meals in excellent local eateries.
