Private Lake Farm Cabin, Pets Welcome

The cabin is a destination all on its own. Fish from the pier or banks on the privately managed eight-acre lake. There is a john boat which is quite old, uses paddles, and is in fair shape (feel free to bring your canoe or john boat.). A paddleboat and paddleboard are available for guest use and swimming. Enjoy walking the property and visit the onsite hoop house and orchard for free seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have fun by the outside fire pit roasting marshmallows with friends and family!

One bedroom / one bath second floor barn apartment sits on 50 acres on top of a hill with breathtaking views of pristine pastures and rolling hills. Very quiet and private and a great space for a family wanting to escape a busy life. High speed internet provided. Bring your horses for a small fee paid on location. We have 3 dogs, horses, cattle, chickens, and peacocks. You may see wildlife such as deer, turkeys, and lots of birds. We are centrally located between Birmingham and Montgomery.

This 46 acre property has beautiful hiking trails, abundant wildlife, and lake for fishing or canoeing so guests can really enjoy the great outdoors! It's located just minutes off I-65 in Jemison, Alabama (Chilton County) centrally located between Birmingham and Montgomery.

Woodland Retreat Mushroom Farm

This is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom private suite that sits on 14 acres. Enjoy the large back deck or walk around our mushroom yard where we grow Log-grown Shiitake Mushrooms. This private suite (meaning closed off) from the main house is surrounded by trees and wildlife. We offer a sitting area inside and out, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot tea, wireless internet, and a large TV with free Netflix. We also offer authentic italian dinners and sides for purchase.
