We were greeted by David and Penelope upon arrival with a warm welcome. We stayed on the ground level in the 2 bedroom suite with our own kitchenette however we received two wonderful meals per day with request. Our hosts were wonderful, informative, and accommodating arranging for a monkey tour through the Mangroves by boat and informed us of the tortuga release just down the beach from where we were staying so we could take the easy 5 minute walk to watch the release. Oh, speaking of the beach, it was amazing to have such an amazing expanse to walk wash day. We couldn't be more happy with our decision to stay with David and Penelope. Looking forward to our next stay with them.

Eva's place was amazing!! Absolutely gorgeous view, beautiful bed and setup inside, it had everything I needed and felt very safe as a solo traveller. Saw a toucan and other birds from the balcony, I could have sat there forever. Also had a great massage! Walkable many things including the delicious Emilio's Cafe. 1000% recommend and would stay here again next time I'm in the area!

Best spot,close to the beach and NP. 2 bedrooms and very complete inventory. The host was helpful and responded very quickly. We had an amazing time as a family.

Great place with easy beach access but worth knowing that you will have to wade through waste deep water to access the beach. However, it was 100% worth it! Staff was great and they are very helpful and kind.

Beautiful home, excellent amenities. Everything you could need was available in the kitchen even though we didn’t cook! We loved the privacy and having the pool for ourselves. The hotel next door was very accommodating. Would stay here again and again!

Peaceful spot right next to the beach. Difficult to find with listed instructions- GPS location takes you to another place. Otherwise it was a nice spot with very helpful staff and amenities as described. Beach is clean and calm. Very outside of touristy areas. Would stay again.

Had an incredible week here with my mom. The space was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool was lovely and the grounds are beautifully maintained. It is a tranquil area away tucked a little out of the way but it’s a great location a close driving distance to grocery stores, the beach, rainforests and the national park. It’s a good value for everything you get and the beds were very comfortable as a bonus.

This luxury villa exceeded all expectations! The house made our entire vacation, a 10 out of 10. Having Andrey as our concierge was so helpful and he was so attentive. The location is also perfect! We loved walking to Ronnie‘s place for dinner and sitting on the pool deck, gazing out on the Pacific Ocean. We will be back!

This welcoming, ocean view hotel suite was a great choice! Most notably was the service. Our host went out of his way to create comfort and care. He was responsive, helpful and even showed us local wildlife! The view and terrace is spectacular. We saw makaws, toucans, parrots, white faced capuchins, agouti, lizards, heard howler monkeys and many birds and humminbirds. The rooms stayed cool with the small unit and fan. The kitchen we decently stocked, however we would suggest making sure to have food staples with you if you are cooking. It is a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to the main beach, parking was usually plentiful and free. The beach was very pretty and not super crowded. We loved Emilo’s Cafe and Holis Spa.

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij David! Het mooie strand ligt recht tegenover het huis en is makkelijk te voet bereikbaar. De supervriendelijke buurman heeft ons niet alleen een luiaard laten zien, maar ook zijn bijzondere bomen en planten uitgelegd – heel leuk, lief en leerzaam! We hadden veel regen, waardoor het dak in de keuken ging lekken. Wij vonden dit vooral vervelend voor David, maar hij stond erop het meteen, zelfs in de stromende regen, te repareren. Wat echt opviel was de goed gevulde koelkast bij ons met boter en wat beleg, een mand met fruit en zelfs brood bij aankomst; je kunt hier direct ontspannen zonder eerst boodschappen te hoeven doen – erg handig en attent! Het kan erg warm zijn en alle kamers beschikken over ventilator en airco dus je kan kiezen! David ontvangt je persoonlijk, geeft een rondleiding en duidelijke uitleg. We hebben genoten van het rustige strand (bijna helemaal voor onszelf) en het heerlijke zwembad. We komen graag nog eens terug!

The staff of this location are incredibly helpful and go the extra mile to make your stay the best. We appreciated the breakfast that was included and even had laundry service during the fist day of our stay. The location is right next to the national park and a pack of monkeys will give you a 6 am wake up call every morning. It was the highlight of our trip watching them from our balcony each day. The beach is a short walk away and absolutely gorgeous. Lots of restaurants in the area too. There were 5 people in our group and the location we stayed in was very spacious. It could use a little maintenance...a few lightbulbs were out or broken, mold is starting to grow in 1 bedroom above the bathroom door (poor ventilation). There is also no on-site parking and we were a little uneasy parking our rental in an alleyway but it all worked out. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives and we would stay here again for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at Casita Alessandro, the property is beautiful with lots of wildlife and birds! Giovanni was extremely helpful and welcoming. The place was nice and clean, with extra towels if needed! We really enjoyed spending our time outside on the balcony. It is a walkable area, with a few restaurants nearby and a quick walk to the beach (although it is a bit of a hike down). There was some construction in the area, and there is a second Casita being built on the property, but the noise didn't bother us as it wasn't excessive. We would definitely stay here again!

Jamie and Sonia were excellent hosts, any questions they responded right away. The house was even better in person than the pictures depicted. We stayed at the property for 24 days. Almost every day we had a troop of about 20 white faced capuchin monkeys come through the yard between the house and the beach. There were also scarlet macaws that came through almost every day. The beach was beautiful, very clean and just steps from the back door. Jose Luis, the groundskeeper who lives on the property, was great. He takes pride in keeping the property clean, he cleaned the yard twice every single day we were there. It was the most well kept yard around. There is a convenience store just down the street for whatever you need. We were looking for somewhere that was accessible to touristy places without actually being in a tourist area and we got exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to our hosts and Jose Luis for making our trip an amazing experience!

The closest to manual Antonio park and walkable distance to beach . I would say this is the best value in manual Antonio .

Die Unterkunft ist nah am Strand sowie zum Nationalpark, aber auch direkt an der Hauptstraße. Nachts war es ruhig, am Tag gab es viel Verkehr. Am Morgen konnten wir beim Frühstück auf dem Balkon die Affen beobachten, die sehr nah in den Bäumen ebenfalls nach Futter suchten. Wir hatten außerdem oft Besuch vom freundlichen Nachbarshund und der verschmusten Nachbarskatze. Die Wohnung entsprach der Beschreibung und hatte eine funktionsfähige Küche. Zudem war es sauber, wir konnten aber bei Bedarf selbst zwischendurch staubsaugen. Daniela ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin.

The location of this spot was a magical dream. The beach is a gorgeous, beautiful wide chocolate sand beach that goes forever in both directions. There was a huge shady place to hang hammocks between the house and the beach. We were 5 in total, Abuela (79), two kids (6 & 11) and myself and my husband. We all absolutely loved this home and location and would absolutely return.

Gostamos muito da hospedagem. Fomos recebidos pessoalmente pelos anfitriões que nos passaram os detalhes da casa. Alguns detalhes foram resolvidos rapidamente e sempre nos responderam com gentileza e prontidão. Na segunda noite trancamos a porta com a chave dentro e Don José foi lá abrir a porta prontamente (ele mora há 25km de distância). O local fica a 1 minuto a pé da entrada do parque Manoel Antônio e a essa mesma distância da praia Espadilla. Tem restaurante, mercadinho, agências de passeio, bares, tudo ao alcance a pé. O ônibus para bem próximo de lá também. A casa é muito confortável, silênciosa , bem equipada e há muitos animais ao redor (veados, iguanas, macacos). Tem uma sacada bem legal pra tomar café e ouvir as ondas do mar bem cedinho. Recomendamos o lugar, sobretudo pela atenção dos anfitriões.

This is one of the best Air BnBs I’ve ever stayed at. It is owned/run by the Buena Vista Hotel, just a short walk down the road, and so you get the best of both worlds. You can get a discounted breakfast at the hotel, which was quite good and filling, and also use the hotel’s outdoor shower before heading back to the apartment. The beautiful beach is just a minute’s walk down the road. Our contact, Josue, was extraordinarily communicative and even answered questions about booking activities before we left on our trip. We stayed in the apartment on the top floor, which was impeccably clean, and there were a ton of nice touches - really nice bath towels and toilet paper, and water already chilled in the frig waiting for us. I wish we could have stayed here longer!
