Wir waren sehr glücklich mit unserem Aufenthalt bei Sunaina. Sie und ihre Familie sind herzliche Gastgebende. Sunaina hat uns Tipps für An- und Abreise gegeben, die unsere Pläne ergänzt haben. Sie hat uns außerdem spontan eine tolle Canoe-Tour mit Vishnu zum Sonnenaufgang organisiert. Wir würden die Canou-Tour zum Sonnenaufgang allen empfehlen. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön und am Abend mit vielen Lichterketten beleuchtet. Man kann direkt am Fluss entspannen. Das Essen ist lecker! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit! Wir kommen gerne wieder nach Munroe Island zu euch:)

Had a lovely stay at this spacious and peaceful 3BHK house in Alleppey. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as shown in the photos. The host was super responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommended it

Biji's place was one of the best experiences I have had in my life, and I think the others in our group of 7 would agree. You must stay here: the place is literally on the Kallada river, a boat can come pick you up from the house and take you on a mangrove tour, and you can even swim just by getting down a few steps. The setting is unbeatable. The house itself seemed all brand new, modern, very comfortable. Even the roof was beautiful, but my favourite feature was the ample 2 porch areas with fans, we basically sat outside the entire time to enjoy the views. Clean, gorgeous, and serene, this place is a must-stay. A lovely lady cooked delicious meals for us for a small extra charge, making the stay even better. Biji's hospitality went beyond all this, he even managed to find a gluten-free cake for our friend's birthday, in addition to helping us arrange cabs and boat ride. Many thanks for this unforgettable stay, Biji. We truly felt we were in God's Own Country.

Abraham is a gentleman host and proactive in his communications. His place exceeds the description and photos you see in Airbnb. The last 400 meters is a bit rough, but can be handled with careful driving. The pool looks like it's still under construction and once completed it will be an excellent addition. It's still usable, and we had a lot of fun in the water. The property is surrounded by greenery and mostly you will be hearing the birds singing and chirping. The food prepared by the inhouse chef is excellent, though one may have to stick to Kerala/TN cuisine. There is a restaurant just 500m from the property. Highly recommended property if you are planning for a get together. Probably some board games and a shuttle net will be a worthwhile addition.

Herrliche zwei Tage auf dem Hausboot verbracht. Das Essen, die gesamte Organisation und das freundliche Personal waren hervorragend. Die Fahrt selbst ist unbeschreiblich schön und lässt einem aus dem Indischen Treiben entfliehen, was auch mal sehr erholsam sein kann. Ich kann nur jedem dieses Erlebnis empfehlen.

An amazing traditional keralan cottage that exceeded our expectations. In a great location out of the wa of the tourist area so we felt like we were right amongst the locals but also next to the backwaters, so beautiful. Great staff and facilities would highly recommend

We stayed at Thira Marari for two days and had a wonderful experience. The hosts were amazing—friendly, welcoming, and provided us with local recommendations. The caretaker Jomon was always around to help and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The complimentary home-cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. The property was well-planned and thoughtfully designed, with all necessary amenities and beautifully maintained garden spaces. The views were breathtaking, with the beach visible from the lawn and the constant sound of waves in the background. The viewing deck was a great bonus, where we spent our evenings watching magnificent sunsets. It's rare to find a stay that blends comfort, beauty and genuine care so effortlessly. Highly recommend this for a peaceful and unique stay, wonderful hosts, and an unforgettable experience.

I wasn’t prepared for how much I enjoyed staying at Samjana’s place. She’s an architect and designed the whole building herself. From the polished brick floors feeling delightful on my bare feet to the open balconies and kitchen, to waking up with an incredible view of the jungle birds and animals, we loved the balance between modern design and natural beauty. With Samjana’s internet booster, I was also able to work comfortably there. And we found delicious restaurants and friendly fruit & veg vendors at the junction within walking distance. We’re grateful for Samjana creating this place and sharing it with us. 🙏🏼

I had a lovely experience with Sebastian and Cecilia taking care of me as if I was one of their daughters. The room is big and pleasant. The location is incredible just 2 steps from Marari beach the long, Peaceful fisherman spot at walking distance from different shops or tuk tuks stop to cover cheaply longer distance if needed Among cafes and restaurants right on the beach, to eat with your feet in the sand, i would recommend the Louvre very tasty food, pleasant atmosphere and lovely service! By the beach you can also find fresh coconut prepared by a few smiley, friendly women as well as other local foods or snacks. This location thus is really brilliant! Perfect to relax and enjoy sunrise and sunset and a real experience of peaceful India. Every day Cecilia prepares amazing breakfasts delivered personally by Sebastian each morning! I would certainly recommend to have some delicious, typical dinner with them! Anything you need just ask Sebastian and he will find a way to help!
