Sara’s place was exactly as described! It was clean and comfortable- very private. The sauna was such a nice luxury! We appreciated all of the little niceties - like coffee , candles, and beach towels for the sauna. It was near everything, but still on a quiet street. Sara was very responsive and friendly. She had great suggestions for breakfast and really made us feel at home. We’d definitely go back!

Magical place!!! Beautiful community! We just loved staying in the River here with our dog! Rhiannon was the best hostess. This place is stocked to the nines with linens dishes, bowls, pots, pans. You name it! We were able to enjoy the river and. The park is right next door so it was perfect walking my dog! The perennial blooms were making a show when we were here so again. Just a magical place! We will be back for sure. Thank you so much to the Ford's for doing it right!!!!

Hazel Lynn's place was perfect for our small family gathering. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a holiday feast; cozy feeling was perfect for playing games and just relaxing. She was very kind and responsive.

We had a great weekend getaway from Chicago and it was less than an hour (without traffic) away! Peaceful, quiet, near the beach. Cullen was an awesome host!

She was so friendly and thorough, letting me know all the details about the home, how to get in, and how to use everything inside. The amenities were above and beyond what I expected. The space was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and the area near Lake Michigan was beautiful. The neighborhood was very quiet, safe, and enjoyable, which made the stay even better. Chris is a phenomenal host. He lives a few minutes away from the RV and is very responsive. Two adults and 2 younger kids were very comfortable and had plenty of space to hangout in the RV. We did not take advantage of the activities at the site, but there was something nearly every hour over the weekend for guests (especially kids) to enjoy. If we are in the area, we would absolutely stay again!

Very comfortable place. Warm and cosy in some really cold weather. Super easy getting in and dealing with the owner. We also all loved Manteno. Its a great place full of lovely people. Couldn't recommend Manteno and this house more.

Sanjay and Aparna were amazing and so was the room. You can tell just from the unpacking-phase of your visit that this location was well thought out and planned. They provide as much as they can in the unit accordingly before you arrive to make sure you are comfortable and set. You feel very safe in the unit itself and in the area you will be residing in temporarily. Not to mention the beautiful lake right outside your door! 10/10, 100% would visit again

This place is in a small quiet neighborhood, just a couple house from the lake. It's a close drive to the Dunes State Park and Chicago. We found plenty of places to hike and several very yummy restaurants. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
