We are 20 min from Terre Haute (Indiana State U.), 20 min from Raccoon Lake for swimming and boating and an hour from Indianapolis. We have ample parking for your boat and trailer! With its raw poplar walls, the cabin offers a full-sized bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, air conditioning, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

Cozy lakefront A-frame Cabin

The Tinkers Cabin is nestled in the heart of Parke County, known for its covered bridges and Turkey Run State Park. It features a lakefront view and direct access to Raccoon Lake, complete with a 30-foot seawall. We love swimming and boating in the summer, enjoying fall colors, and exploring the lakebed in the winter when the water is drained for capacity. In the evenings, you can gather around an outdoor bonfire or stream your favorite movies with free Wi-Fi and smart TV in this cozy cabin.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. The Historic Parke County Courthouse is in full view from the apartment’s living room windows. Located on the beautiful Rockville square, this apartment is near The 1880 Mustard Seed for your morning coffee and pastry, Rubies for some retail shopping and G& M Variety for that one of a kind purchase!! We are located across the street from the Ritz Theater, just a block away from the public library and The 36 Saloon.

Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines.

The 1938 Barn

The 1938 Barn is located in the ❤ of Covered Bridge Country in Parke County. You will love the rustic charm of this converted hay barn built in 1938. Come relax by the camp fire or explore our many Covered Bridges and local State Parks. The farm also hosts Henry's Market, a market garden providing fresh meat and vegetables which makes summertime an excellent time to visit! Please note: There is NO WI-FI, NO CABLE. We have a selection of DVDs. Limited cell service, AT&T works best.

There is a large deck attached with a beautiful view of the swinging bridge and the woods. Cook out on the deck's gas grill and enjoy cool evenings by the fire pit (wood provided). At least 3 State Parks are within 20 miles of this property. Also super close to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.
