This is recent modern Barn conversion. (Jan 2015) It contains one large kitchen/dining/lounge area, one double bedroom with en suite facilities. June 2017 added second Living Space area with view of adjacent farm and wood, Lobby area with Laundry facilities and a second bathroom. Please note the Grounds and external outdoor perimeter of The Barn is protected by CCTV TK Alarm Company. Please know this is a simple place. It once was out buildings, however you will find it warm and homely.

Welcome to our barn conversion which we hope will provide you with the perfect escape, a base for your countryside adventures or a bed after exploring nearby towns and cities. Located on a working dairy farm the barn was converted in 2019 into 2 separate apartments each accommodating max 4 people. At the moment only the ground floor apartment is available to guests. Perfectly located with easy access from the M1 motorway, an hours drive from Dublin and Belfast and only 8 min by car to Dundalk.

The Hayloft at Swainstown Farm

Unwind and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this historic getaway. A 300-year-old Georgian hayloft that has been lovingly converted into a cosy, modern space. Set in the heart of a regenerative family run farm. Enjoy fresh farm eggs for breakfast or a delicious coffee from our rustic farm shop "The Piggery" open on weekends throughout Summer. No 3rd party bookings and our accommodation is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
