For vacation or business, weddings, birthdays, weekends away, you can walk to our river side parks, concerts, festivals, parades, dining & shopping.

The Gator Getaway

The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.

Our house is steps away from Mandeville's beautiful lakefront for your enjoyment. Beautiful moss covered live oaks surround front deck and waterfront deck in back with views of Bayou Castine and Lake Pontchartrain. Connect to the Tammany Trace by way of a bike path that is located in front of our property. Mandeville Trailhead is 1.2 miles away and has bike rentals, farmers market on Saturdays and free spring and fall concerts. New Orleans is just 45 minutes away.

Bluebird Lane Estates

4 bedroom, 4 bathroom private residence with high ceilings, wood beams and spacious rooms on a 100 acre animal rescue farm. Located just 1 mile from the Village of Folsom where all essentials can be found. Numerous horse show venues are located nearby. We are approx 1 hr from New Orleans, 1 hr from Baton Rouge and 30 min from Hammond. Short term, self-service horse boarding may be available for an additional fee. This charming shotgun house is located on the "main" street of downtown Old Mandeville. Just steps away are boutique shops, antique stores, restaurants, andThe Lake Pontchartrain Lakefront. Also within walking distance is the St. Tammany Trace bike trail that passes right through Girod St at the Mandeville Trailhead. There are farmers markets and other events at the Trailhead almost every weekend.
