Can’t speak highly enough of Joe’s place. Easily the most peaceful slice of island life, with an incredibly gracious host and flexible to what we need. Highlight of our year, every year.

This stay was everything we wanted- relaxing, calm and a beautiful property. We did hikes near by and activities in the town. We really enjoyed exploring! I would love to come back!

Staying at the treehouse was such a unique experience! The treehouse actually has trees growing amongst the various decks and porches! There are so many windows with great views of the forest. I loved how cozy and clean it felt and we enjoyed all of the amenities (sauna, rain shower, hot tub bathtub). My kids enjoyed sleeping up in the loft. There are a lot of outdoor and screened in spaces that allowed us to spread out and relax. The gas fireplace is two sided and even heats one of the porches! I could see this being a nice place to stay in all seasons. Although the treehouse is not far (8 mins) from two substantial grocery stores, the site feels very private and peaceful. And MDI is so accessible as well. Thank you for sharing this memorable experience with us!

My best friend and I stayed at Ian’s place in Boothbay for a faux-artist weekend together. It was perfect. Such a charming home and location, filled with all the little things we might need to hunker down and spend some quality time inside and around the water with someone you love. Big time recommend.

We stayed in the cleverly named “Oaktagon” yurt for three nights. Many years of diligent work and creative engineering is made evident in every pathway and structure on the island. Kent and Heather are thoughtful hosts who communicate a sustainable method of interacting with the natural world via the island’s accommodations. We were comfortable and had everything we needed to stay cozy. We particularly enjoyed the fancy jotul wood stove to pull the edge off of the cool nights and heat our water for morning coffee. A highlight for us was our nightly candlelit dinners. -tip- bring some grill ready items in your cooler. Rope swings and floating swim docks that line the shore are a major enticement to return later into summer. We loved the canoes available at the landing and logged many miles around the lake while fishing and being serenaded by the booming local loon population. Hope to return soon. Thanks for everything. Isle au haut was an amazing getaway. Great view of the river on a peaceful setting. The instructions for the hot tub were straightforward. We used it a lot. The king size bed was comfy with a wall of Windows overlooking the river. Most definitely a relaxing stay. Would love to come back. Thank you Marsha

Such a beautiful place! Me and my wife didn’t want to leave. 😊 We loved our stay here and would recommend it to everyone headed this way. When we drove in the first night, it felt like we were in a dream. It was so cozy, and we felt like we were right at home. The hosts are amazing, and they are great people to work with. 😊

Wow, this treehouse was just amazing! Toni was an excellent host and really made our stay special. The lake was beautiful and the treehouse was so cozy. Even in mid October this was a great trip. The lobster pound and Acadia National Park are must see’s along with the Belfast farmers market. Our friends will be hearing about this place!

I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at this charming cabin, and I can honestly say it was one of the best getaways I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the Feras had thought of everything to make the experience truly memorable. The cabin itself was cozy, impeccably clean, and with every detail carefully considered. The decor perfectly balanced rustic charm with modern comfort, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was clear that Feras wanted to make sure we had an stress-free and relaxing time, and his attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our stay. In short, this cabin offered everything we were looking for and more—comfort, style, and thoughtful touches that went above and beyond. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed retreat. We can’t wait to come back!

In The Woods is definitely off the beaten path, but 100% worth the trip! The cabin is exactly that, just lifted off the ground and set in trees. You pull off the main road and find a small parking lot for disc golfing. Pulling up to the cabin is ample parking and an easy walk up to the cabin. Under the cabin is a nice large hammock for relaxing. Above in the cabin you will find two futon beds with GREAT mattresses; a ladder to the loft which holds a full/queen size bed. My son (16) immediately chose the loft for his accommodations and loved every minute of it. The kitchen is well maintained and equipped with all the basics. The bathroom has lots of space and step into shower. The area is FULL of hiking trails and the tower has the best views! Definitely a spot to make memories and relax.

We absolutely loved our time here! It was so serene and peaceful ❤️ Jennifer and Carl were always so quick to respond and really friendly and helpful, especially with suggestions of things to do in the area!

The Roost was great for the few days we were there. It was clean and organized. For a first time Airbnb experience it certainly was a great one. We look forward to returning someday. The outside hammock swings and upper deck looked very inviting, unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate. Perfect for a two person getaway.
