It’s a nice place hidden just near the town area but peaceful and felt like home away from home. All the essentials for a short stay is there and surprisingly water dispenser with a full bottle was ready to use. Thank you very much for the comfortable stay.

I visited Sri Lanka for a holiday with my family, and we stayed one night at Saman’s place. The location was very convenient for traveling to nearby pilgrimage sites. The place matched the Airbnb pictures perfectly. Saman was very welcoming, ensured we were comfortable, and provided helpful information about the area. I highly recommend Saman’s place to the Airbnb community.

My family and I had a short but great stay! The host is proactive, helpful and friendly and gave us a lot of helpful recommendations. It’s very close to all the historical and religious sights which proved very useful too. Thank you Anasuya, we’ll definitely be back!

Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Beide Schlafzimmer sind mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet und im Wohnzimmer gab es einen Ventilator. Restaurants waren nicht sonderlich viele in unmittelbarer Nähe, aber mit dem Tuktuk kommt man schnell und billig überall hin. Am zweiten Abend wurden wir mit einer kleinen Mahlzeit überrascht.

A great place with a view over the rice paddies. Super helpful hosts. Our kids loved the pool. The fireflies at night were magical. I highly recommend!

We had a fantastic 6 night stay at Sharmini’s villa. My husband and I were travelling with our 9 month old, 3 year old and in-laws, and Sharmini’s staff could not have made us feel any more welcome. They really wanted to ensure we had a lovely stay, cooking wonderful meals(chef is included and you just pay for ingredients), helping us organise a safari trip and day trip to Anuradhapura. The villa itself is located in beautiful surroundings, it was wonderful having such wildlife on the doorstep! We went on a boat trip one evening and saw a wild elephant. Bedrooms all have A/C and splash pools on balconies. Highly recommend a stay!

Devika is an amazing host, warm and friendly with a kind soul. Her family are very welcoming, and it was a pleasure to share there space. The tiny house is gorgeous. It's new and modern, with a well thought out design. We enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen, while watching the squirrels out of the window. The location is great, only a short ride to supermarkets, restaurants and sites. The bikes were a massive bonus, and we made use of them every day. Devika's garden is very peaceful, a lovely place to relax. Her communication was excellent, and we would not hesitate in recommending her home.

Elite Holiday Home is great base to go and explore Anuradhapura. The apartment is set in a leafy quiet suburb. It has two bedrooms with two large comfortable beds in each room with A/C and ensuite. The owners during our stay were always available, friendly, and very helpful as they helped arrange a driver to take us around the ancient city.

We have travelled to many places in the world and in Sri Lanka, this was one of the best. Query, peaceful and really friendly staff. The pool was one of the best we have swam in in Sri Lanka. Evening dinner and breakfast was great. They organised tours and drivers for us. We were with two kids aged six and eight and it was fantastic. They are building a few more treehouses but only a few. In a year or two this place will up there with the more well known boutique places on the island. Highly recommended!!! Joe and family
