Dustin’s place was wonderful. The letter limit on the review might not be enough to describe how much I liked this place. Absolutely beautiful yard with lots of trees. I enjoyed watching the birds from the kitchen window while I cooked breakfast. The kitchen is filled with anything you need to cook and feel at home. The lake behind the house was beautiful and the patio is perfectly decked out (no pun intended) to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. The game room with pool table was a great addition. This place would be perfect for anyone to stay, couple or large family. This place has it all.

We were visiting family and for the Red Bud festival and this was the perfect location. It's walkable to downtown and it was quiet. The home was lovely as well and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

This has been the most thoroughly enjoyable rental we have ever stayed in! If you have no reason whatsoever to go to Haynesville, go anyway! Book this house and soak up all the wholesome farmhouse charm your soul needs! It has big windows to take in all the wholesome heartwarming scenery, and stunning second floor views. The dogs are the most well-mannered greeters. They don't bark when you pull up, they greet you with wagging tails and will happily accept head scratches if offered but they don't impose. Every inch of this property is so therapeutic and good for the soul! Mr. Glenn, our host, was extremely attentive, welcoming and hospitable! Just the best experience! This place gets all the stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very peaceful cabin right on the water. The local restaurants and fishing stores had great food!

This Airbnb was amazing! It had all the room we needed for family!!

The Bayou was clean, easy to find and checkin/checkout was a breeze. We enjoyed our stay. The hill to the boathouse is not for anyone with mobility issues. We enjoyed the canoes that were available and the host responded quickly to anything we asked. We even asked for food recommendations (cause momma wasn’t cooking on her mini vacay) and they made some great suggestions! Shreveport is about a 35 min drive and we got some good food! Now—the listing says “pets accepted” and we were going to bring our weenies, but the day before checking in, the host said they didn’t allow pets due to son’s allergies. Stated they have had issues getting AirBnb to change that on their listing. We booked for bringing our doggies, and, since it was last minute notification, the host was gracious enough to ‘allow’ it for us, but we found a last minute dog sitter, so we did not bring them. Not a big issue- but double check with the host before you book. They are having issues with the Airbnb listing!

The view from this adorable cottage is stunning. It’s clean, comfortable and the host was kind and accommodating. Do note that they don’t provide Wi-Fi. It’s noted in the listing so that’s on me not them. However, I needed to work from home so it was a bit difficult with a couple of bars running the hotspot on my phone. I can see that being a good thing if you’re looking to bring the family somewhere to disconnect. Overall, a nice place with everything you need to enjoy your trip. The cabin is full of antiques and collectibles, yet still cozy.
