Shiloh Cottage

Slow down and experience country life on our little plot of land. The cottage is located on our 6 acre property with a tree-lined view with cows in the pasture from the front porch and a sweet view of the ducks in the pond and sheep grazing from the bedroom window. We have two Great Pyrenees dogs, 2 cats, and chickens. There might be occasional barking. If prolonged, we will bring them in. Fully stocked kitchen. There is always plenty of coffee, coffee creamer, and homemade scones for breakfast.

Originally built in 1885, this cozy little place is located just off the historic town square in downtown Tellico Plains and is within walking distance of the Tellico Grains Bakery, Charles Hall Museum and Cherohala Skyway Visitor Center. Tucked away in a wooded cove, this private studio Cabin has all the decor you would expect from us. It is near the other studios, so bring a group! Hot tub and beautiful stone electric fireplace, 65" Smart TV with Fast Wi-Fi, full kitchen, washer and dryer, foldout queen sofa, bathroom, and lovely appointments on the porch. Slip under the covers of the huge King size bed and sleep in as long as you want. Even if you are not a fisherman, you will love this for a getaway. Pets are welcome.

This place is the perfect starting point for outdoor activities like visiting the Dairy Farm, the Lost Sea, hiking the Trail of Tears or biking the Unicoi TurnpikeTrail. You will find several antique stores in Athens, Sweetwater or Madisonville. If you drive an electric car there is a 50 A outlet to charge your car right at the back of the house.

We are near many destinations including, The Smokey Mountains, Tail of the Dragon, The Lost Sea and numerous wineries .

You can enjoy the porch swings. We have a fire pit to enjoy at night while watching the stars. Who doesn't like smores?
