Our family and friends had an unforgettable stay at Monrovia on Main for our 40th Woodberry Forest School reunion. This grand, beautifully restored 1904 home was the perfect gathering place! The location on Main Street is ideal—an easy walk to downtown Orange's shops and restaurants. The home itself is exquisite, with elegant antique furnishings, luxurious bedding, and updated baths offering modern comfort. We especially loved relaxing in the spacious parlor and game room, and the front porch was the perfect spot for afternoon naps. The gardens were stunning, with azaleas in full bloom. Everything was meticulously clean and thoughtfully prepared. With five lovely bedrooms and a large, well-equipped kitchen, we had ample space to reconnect and relax. Gaines was a wonderful host—welcoming, responsive, and attentive. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommend Monrovia on Main!

Barbara was so helpful. What a peaceful stay for our family. The farm tour was amazing. The post cards were an added bonus. We were there for a memorial service and there was plenty of space.

We stayed overnight and we were completely satisfied. House was clean and well appointed. Just what we were looking for to stop and break up our long trip.

It's a perfect location for a peaceful stay. The cabin is surrounded by nature and has everything you need to unwind, relax, and enjoy! Highly recommended.

What a hidden gem! Charming and secluded farm house with wineries, historical sites, and Old Rag Mountain only a short drive away. John was a wonderful host with great communication. Would highly recommend!

Our family of four spent two nights at Callie's Cottage. We had a great time enjoying the trails, fishing the pond, and watching the horses. Our kids had a lot of fun playing in the treehouse. The house was cozy, clean and well appointed.

Great place and awesome location, close to Old Rag and White Oak Canyon. Clean and nice accommodation, with a great view. Kid friendly as well. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Farm! Peaceful and enchanting location. So much to take in we didn’t have time to do it all! Enjoyed the sauna, hiking and the many peaceful outside areas to relax. The house was very interesting. Since part of my family is from the area, we enjoyed the history that the house provided. Great place for ALL ages. The extended family said we will be coming back!!

Jennifer’s place was amazing! A fully private guest house with tons of space and well stocked. Beautiful location and we were excited to use the hot tub. Would definitely stay again when visiting Shenandoah.

Adorable space just perfect for a weekend stay. We were in town for a concert at ting pavilion and it was about 20 minute drive to downtown area which is where we spent most of our time exploring places to eat and night life. The space was VERY clean and Bianca is an exceptional host who communicates well and added wonderful touches like wine and some breakfast foods. Great value and I would definitely stay again!

Chanel was excellent at communicating and was so helpful in accommodating us for two extended stays.

Sara’s place was the perfect getaway! The apartment was thoughtfully decorated and stocked with everything you’d need. Easy access to downtown Culpeper, but in a peaceful location at the end of a quiet lane. Would highly recommend!

This is a very comfortable, clean, and beautiful place. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. I especially loved the second floor, on nice days, I really enjoyed the sunlight there. The large windows offer a great view of the outdoors. The hosts are very friendly and provided detailed instructions for everything along with restaurant recommendations. They were very responsive and quick to answer any questions, which made everything so easy. Their warmth and kindness created such a welcoming atmosphere, and they paid attention to every little detail to ensure a comfortable stay. I truly enjoyed my time here. I would have loved to extend my stay, but unfortunately, the place was already booked for the following days. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

We loved staying in this quaint little home! The area was beautiful, and there was a lot of space outside to relax and play. The host was great, and we had a wonderful experience overall.

Fritz was very welcoming, friendly and communicative! He made us feel like family with how sincere he was and reaching out to check in if we needed anything. He also shared suggestions to places near by and restaurants we could check out as it was my Birthday trip-getaway! We have referred our family and friends to his cabin because it was a little piece of heaven. Away from the city life chaos. The icing on the cake was the private hot tub right outside the bedroom through a separate door. The perfect couples getaway! The host makes all the difference with Airbnb experiences. And Fitz was one of the best I have ever come across. He treats guests with respect and kindness! We will be going back in the fall for my husbands Birthday. :)

My husband and I absolutely loved this home. It was a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Very private, serene and peaceful. The views of the mountain even from inside the house is breathtakingly beautiful. I ultimately loved hearing the sounds of the birds chirping in the morning. The tub was a very nice way to end the night after a long day of exploring the Shenandoah National Park. This place is everything you need to unwind. We would love to go back! The cabin was remote and peaceful. Nestled in the hills of the valley it offered privacy, comfort, and seclusion. It was also only about 10-15 minutes from Luray and the caverns.

This cozy gem was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate a special occasion! A one night stay was not nearly enough to soak in the gorgeous view and try out all the fun! Everything was so perfectly and simplistically appointed to meet any need. We hope to return!

The best way to review a stay is to say that you will return. I will definitely return to this cabin! I'll put it on my list of favorites.

Red Gate Cabin was fabulous. It was exactly as pictured and described. The location is absolutely stunning, we had the most beautiful sunsets every evening, birds chirping and singing in the morning (but not loud enough to wake us - the house is very soundproof), and a trail into the woods directly behind the house as described. We lacked for nothing - anything we needed or wanted was in the cabin, even maps of Shenandoah National Park. The beds were comfortable, linens very nice, soft towels, and plenty of dish towels in the kitchen so we didn't have to waste paper towels. When we notice a bees nest just beginning to form on one of the porches (they work fast - it was not there when we arrived), David came over promptly and took care of it. All of his communications were clear and all responses came quickly. The wifi was very strong and I was even able to do a zoom from the outside porch (during sunset!) with perfect streaming We loved the cabin and would definitely return again!

Grateful for such a beautiful and peaceful cabin and property. Felt bliss and joy staying here.
