Amazing cottage! unique and thoughtful! loved it!

This is a beautiful spot, quite private and spacious! We loved the view from the big windows and porches! I hope we can return some time for another enjoyable vacation.

This was our third time staying in 6 months and will not be last, we’ve felt at home and been able to relax and not worry about anything, the space has everything you need to enjoy you’re stay! Thanks for having us!

Josh and Alyssa are great hosts. They are friendly and responsive, and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Their place is set up well, with lots of things to do inside and out. Not to mention, their rates are very reasonable. I would recommend staying with them.

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! Nous avons adoré ce chalet situé dans un lieu calme, paisible, beau. Le logement était très bien équipé (nous avons même trouvé un adaptateur alors que nous n'avions pas pris le nôtre). Le parking devant le chalet n'est pas accessible sans voiture adaptée à cette période de l'année, comme nous l'a indiqué l'hôte, nous nous sommes garés facilement sur la route très proche du logement.

This cottage is an absolute gem. We had the best time, as did our golden retriever, by far one of his funnest weekends ever!!! The sandy beach was perfect for him. We loved the docks, kayaks, row boat, paddle board, all so fun and peaceful on the calm lake. The cottage was in a great location, easy to find. The inside of the cottage was so cozy. Minden is so close and such a cute town. Thank you!!!

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

We had great stay with Igor everything was as described he super friendly and responsive. The park is clean and everyone is really friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and hopefully we will return in the near future.

A great stay! My partner, my dog, and I have been coming to The Lodge for 4 years now and it’s always a fantastic time. It is a perfect and cozy winter stay. We loving coming back to Golden Lake year after year for The Lodge but also because Cindy is such a wonderful host. She is very responsive with any questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend :)

Our family had a wonderful stay. The stunning views are even better than the pictures. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor activities, with canoeing and local attractions being the highlights for us. Hosts Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful, offering excellent recommendations and exceeding our expectations. The place had a welcoming vibe. Highly recommended—a hidden gem.

Lovely cozy cottage along the water. Enjoyable spot to hang by the fire pit on the beach. Very comfortable and quaint cabin with a well stocked kitchen. Would recommend for nice little getaway.

Footprints is a hidden gem in the Kawarthas, a little paradise! lots of things to do in the resort, lots of space and seating areas. Swimming in the beautiful lake was perfect! We were very fortunate to have the entire place for ourselves for almost two days, when guests arrived for the weekend we found that everyone knows how to be respectful of your space. It was nice to share stories by the fire or by the hot tub with friendly people. We would love to go back!

It was such a relaxing stay! The cabin was cozy and had a full kitchen so we were able to cook and barbecue. They had fire pits and plenty of fire wood. S’mores are a must! Cindy is an excellent host. She is so kind and wants to make sure you have a great time. On our second day there, she brought us local bread and jam. It was such a lovely unexpected surprise. Her communication was great she was very accommodating. The area is beautiful and the cabin is clean and roomie. We will definitely be back! Thank you Cindy for everything. She really went above and beyond for us!

We had a beautiful stay at this cabin on Marble Lake! The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the lake and environment was gorgeous. A wonderful place to stay for adults or families - we'd love to come back another time. A few things you may want to know about staying here that aren't clear from the listing: -shared waterfront access to Marble Lake is beautiful, and great for swimming or boating - canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are available -each cabin has a designated fire pit for campfires - BYO wood or purchase on-site for $15/bag. It was awesome to watch the sun set over the lake by the fire. -planning to grill is a good idea - there is just a small 2-burner hotplate inside the cabin. You can bring your own propane tank or rent one for $40/day or $80/whole trip. -you may also want to bring toilet paper - 2 rolls were provided but guests are responsible for refills -Bon Echo Provincial Park is a 15 minute drive away, and a must-see in my opinion. One of the most beautiful places in the province. Thank you to Mike, Nawar, and the great staff at Myers Cave Resort!

The location is stunning, with beautiful lake views and peaceful surroundings. The house was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely love to come back.

Tracey was a great host and our group loved the cottage. We had a nice fall weekend and the views were incredible. The cottage had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away for a relaxing weekend on the lake.

Awesome place! Super spacious and the Sauna was wonderful. Definitely would recommend as a cozy cabin stay in the winter and I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. Thanks again for the lovely stay!

Leah was very helpful in making sure our stay went seamless. Took care of plowing/snowblowing to make the property accessible to all areas of interest as with going had some awful weather.(Snow with more Snow). lol. Again she was very responsive with questions I had and Informative to the specifics of the area. Cozy spot, great to relax and unwind. Would definitely go again, perhaps a great summertime spot.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. The house is spacious and clean, with a workable kitchen. The backyard is big in size and has lots of activities.

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location! We had a great time hanging out in the hot tub, playing games, and playing hockey on the frozen lake! Highly recommended!
