Great place to stay, Obu was very communicative and was able to help me out with anything I needed during my stay. Good quiet area, plenty of stuff to do around as well. Place matched the pictures and was everything I needed. 10/10

I would give 6 stars if I could. Maxine was absolutely amazing and a delight. The apartment was really cool and relaxing. It is my new home in Detroit when I go to visit. They were more than just hosts that had a place. Maxine makes you feel welcome and is a delight to work with. Thank you so much for everything!

It’s a very quiet area! Slept like a baby, the apartment was cute and home feeling. Check in and check out was smooth sailing, it was a pleasure to stay there and would definitely come back.

This place was absolutely amazing! There were one or two minor issues, but they were resolved quickly. After I checked out, Chris, a co-host, called me to see how my stay was and offered me a discount, even though I hadn’t asked for anything. He thought the small inconveniences warranted it, but I declined the offer after realizing that they are young entrepreneurs who are passionate about what they do and trying to build their business. I really support efforts like this and want to thank the hosts for providing such an incredible experience. The location is a must-stay and it feels extremely safe, with plenty of private parking. Although it’s about a 30-minute drive to downtown Detroit, the experience is well worth it. Thank you, guys! I’ll be back soon, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

This is my second time staying at this apartment and probably won't be the last! There was an issue with the shower when we first arrived, but Jesse was quick to respond and got it fixed for us as fast as he could. A very cosy little home away from home, I highly recommend to everyone who asks :)

Our 2nd stay at Troy’s!!! More trips coming also this summer! As I stated before, super lake front home- just perfect! Safe, restaurant within walking distance! Plenty of room for truck and boat! Close to numerous boat launches! The home is just perfect decor and waking up with the sun/lake in your face makes this home a huge bargain! Also can dock quickly can grab some lunch or anything you forgot on boat! Thanks Again Holly & some fisherman from Ohio

David's place is really nice! It is located near Whole Foods which was a plus! Also, you can walk to museums or hop on public transit. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony, out back. Will stay again if in the Detroit area!

One of the best rentals we have ever stayed at! Excellent location to ball park, arena, and local restaurants. The condo was extremely clean upon arrival. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Beds and all other furniture was very comfy. Most notably, Sean was an incredible host. Provided an excellent digital guidebook as soon as booking was made. Was immediately responsive to any messages sent. Best of all, provided extra amenities within the condo which exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend this condo to anyone coming into Detroit!

Very clean and comfortable home! Perfect for our short stay in the area. Even gave us an early check in to help accommodate our time. Excellent host!
