The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. Attached to a beautiful farm house, and set within the New Forest National Park, the Bolt Hole offers a wonderful place to relax. Enjoy the hot tub and take in the garden and paddock views. When it is chilly, draw the curtains and light the wood burner. Quiet and peaceful yet 2 minutes' drive from a great village which has two super pubs. 5 miles from beaches and 3 minutes' drive to the wonderful New Forest. Bring your dog too, there are fields for them to run around in.
