We had an unforgettable experience in Luxor, all thanks to Mon (Ayman) – the most welcoming host I’ve met in years. He organizes tours that are far more personal, authentic, and beautiful than anything on GetYourGuide. We visited all the temples, enjoyed a peaceful felucca ride on the Nile on sunset, saw the temples lit up at night, and ended with a delicious local BBQ dinner. Mon even picked us up from the airport and brought us back. We spent the whole day together, and it honestly felt like being with a friend. His Airbnb is spotless, beautifully designed, and has a lovely terrace to relax on. I can truly say, hand on heart, that Ayman is the best host you’ll ever meet — and that’s coming from someone who rarely leaves reviews. He’s not just a guide, but someone who genuinely cares about his guests’ experience, and it shows in every detail. If you want to discover Luxor in the most authentic, warm, and memorable way, Mon is the one to go with.

This is a wonderful place to stay! The flat is spacious, spotless and you can’t go wrong with the view of Medinet Habu. Masrya, her Dad, and her Aunt extend a warm welcome and are pleasant to talk to. Masrya also is a great cook. Highly recommend!

Staying at Mohamed’s place was truly a highlight of my trip to Egypt. He is a warm, humble, and incredibly generous host—always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. From the very first moment, I felt safe, welcomed, and at ease. The location is absolutely perfect: tucked away in a peaceful area surrounded by banana trees, yet just a short 10-minute walk to the Nile and close enough to walk to nearby restaurants. It strikes the perfect balance between calm seclusion and easy access to local amenities. The room itself was cosy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I could possibly need—even a hair dryer, which was such a pleasant surprise! If you’re looking for a quiet and authentic stay in Luxor with a host who truly cares, this is the place. Thank you, Mohamed, for such a beautiful experience—I couldn’t have asked for more.

This was simply the best experience we could wish for on our first visit to Luxor. The house itself is very spacious with super comfortable beds and an extremely well equipped kitchen. The outdoor spaces and the balconies are just divine with panoramic views across the Nile. The pool was the perfect temperature and a must after being out in the hot sun. The house is better than the photos. What really made our stay so amazing was the host Arlene, the Hotel staff next door and the most amazing taxi driver Ahmed...all of who could not do enough for you to make your stay the most comfortable and enjoyable it could be. The hotel food was delicious and very well priced for the huge amount you were served. There is also a small family run restaurant 'The Farmers House' just past Djorff Palace Hotel, where the food is incredible - Veggie option is the best! Thankyou Sayed, Osman and a MASSIVE Thankyou to Arlene and Ahmed, for making us feel like we had a second home in Luxor. WE WILL BE BACK!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It really captures the beauty and magic of Luxor. On top of the accommodations the host fed us the best food we’ve had in Egypt. Ahmed is super friendly and very accommodating and even ran to the store to pick up cold medicine when I told him I wasn’t feeling well. The host really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Grazioso appartamento nella costa ovest di Luxor ,ottima posizione per visitare i monumenti ,i templi . Casa pulita, le foto corrispondono esattamente a quello che troverete, la famiglia è cordiale, ospitale e vi aiuterà se avete bisogno di qualsiasi cosa. Assaggiate il cibo di Amida perché ne vale veramente la pena!!!! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, godete della tranquillità del bel giardino e alzatevi presto la mattina vedrete passare tantissime mongolfiere sopra la vostra testa ...mesperienza veramente unica. Consiglierò questo appartamento ad amici . Venite

Very nice villa with good location. Bidwin is very halpful and friendly and we got good friends. He helped us with the trips and we got always food from him. He also gave us his motorcycle which we used to go to the ruins like King Valley or Hatsepsut temple. All in all very happy with this Airbnb.

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in dem süssen Häuschen von Refaie verbracht. Es ist sehr ruhig, komfortabel mit allen, was dazu gehört ausgestattet. Bequemes, grosses Dopellbett, großzügiges Wohnzimmer mit offener Küche und Esstisch.. Gasherd,Waschmaschine sind neu und hochwertig. Wir schätzten die Privatsphäre im Haus und Garten. 4 Minuten zu Fuß zu Habu Tempel. Die majestätischen Berge liegen vor uns. Möglichkeit essen zu gehen ist innerhalb einigen Minuten da. Auch Market und Shops. Zum Nil sind es ca. 5 km. Ein gemütlicher Spaziergang dauert etwa 45 Minuten. Dieses bequemes und komfortables Häuschen war bach unserer Geschmack. einfach toll. 🥰

Die Wohnung ist großzügig, toll gestaltet und wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Khaled hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen und war immer sehr freundlich. Der Blick auf die tolle Landschaft ist einmalig. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen!

Elnopy, is so helpful and communicative, if there where any small issues he was right there to make them better. The location is great plenty of amenities but a quiet street. We were so comfortable we extended our stay!

Wir wurden total freundlich empfangen. Die Anlage, sowohl der Pool als auch die Dachterrasse sind wow. Der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse ist gigantisch! Ruhige Lage, einfach zu Fuß zu erreichen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir würden sofort nochmal bei Diana buchen. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen und unkomplizierten Aufenthalt.

No os perdáis el alojamiento. Tan agradable como preciso en los servicios que puede ofrecer ofrecer por el momento (tanto Carine como Alí están en proceso de ampliar y mejorar sus instalaciones). Localizado en un entorno rural, en el lado del Valle de las Reinas y de los Reyes (Luxor) es, sin duda un remando de paz y silencio egipcio. Los desayunos son excelentes de verdad y a un precio insuperable. Carine es un encanto de mujer, suiza, muy alegre y súper trabajadora. Sin duda un lugar para alojarse cuando vayáis a visitar a Luxor, Karnak, el Valle de las Reinas, el Valle de los Reyes, el de los Artesanos, etc., a un precio y limpieza insuperable. Gracias Carine y Alí por vuestra ayuda y os deseamos lo mejor, en todos los sentidos.

Ahmed's apartment is very nice place to stay. Good location, quiet area. I was unfortunate to stay during the massive water outage in the city and it was quite a challenge to survive without a water supply in the apartment, however I can't blame the apartment, since the outage was all over the city.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par Elaine et Mahmoud dans leur maison. l appartement est tres confortable, tres propre et bien equipe: climatisation lave linge etc.. tout correspondait a la description. la deco interieur et la vue sur le charme de Al Bairat fut reposant et nous invite a la contemplation. Le service sur place, l écoute et la bienveillance fut à la hauteur de nos attentes. Mahmoud a été au petit soin avec nous pour nous faire découvrir la culture locale, l histoire de la région de Luxor , et sans compter les belles surprises du matin avec un petit déjeuner dans un village qui nous a littéralement charme. Nous lui remercions infiniment pour sa bonté, sa générosité et sa disponibilité. Nous pensons revenir pour prolonger ce beau séjour. Encore merci à Elaine et Mahmoud ❤️☺️🙏🌟🥀

The apartment is a bit old but clean and cozy. There is enough cookery in the kitchen, and a large wardrobe in the bedroom. All amenities were fine. The main benefit is the spacious private balcony and common rooftop with a spectacular view.
