Many years ago, I used to live nearby. The area is as beautiful as it was, maybe more so. This villa is a standout. Beautifully proportioned with super high ceilings, beautifully furnished with well-maintained grounds in the first flush of spring. My stay was the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of tourist-ridden Firenze. Only a short distance from the centre, yet to all effect in the country. The perfect situation for me. I hope to return for a longer stay.

Teresa and Agostino were the best hosts we have ever experienced. They were both extremely sweet, made us breakfast, taught us how to make pasta and then served us dinner all for free! We had multiple options of where we wanted to stay (went during off season). She gave us some of the best recommendations for local activities and food and what to see. Teresa and Agostino deserve so many more stars than you can physically select. If you have the opportunity to stay with them, you need to!

Marco’s place was amazing. It is the perfect getaway spot, very quiet, but easily accessible. It was also fun to chat with Marco over breakfast! We will definitely be back!

Mein Wunsch einen sympathischen Ort zu finden um die Toskana per Fahrrad und Auto zu erkunden hat sich bestätigt - ruhig, abseits vom Trubel (eine empfehlenswerte Trattoria ist aber zu Fuß erreichbar!), mit viel Grün, vor allem aber eine sympathische und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, die immer Tipps zur Umgebung parat hat. Alles in allem eine Unterkunft um sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen!

Soggiorno con la famiglia. Base per escursioni a Pisa e Lucca. Proprietari molto gentili e cortesi. Casa pulita e comoda con una bellissima terrazza che in estate diventa sicuramente il fiore all’occhiello della struttura. Da non sottovalutare il posto auto comodissimo. La raccomandiamo caldamente. Grazie per l’ospitalità.

Bellissima esperienza di soggiorno nella casa sull'albero, sia per la particolarità della camera sia per l'accoglienza di Roberto, la cui simpatia fa dimenticare i piccoli difetti. Da vivere e da ritornare, anche per la bellezza del territorio circostante.

A Dream Wedding at Il Grande Prato - Beyond Perfection Our wedding at Il Grande Prato was magical. From the moment we arrived with our guests, we felt the warmth and hospitality. Every detail, from the stunning landscape to the charming accommodations, was perfect. Giulia, Taisia, and the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding flawless. They handled everything! From transportation to and from the train station, to wedding décor and preparing the most delicious meals! No request was too big or too small. Their hospitality extended beyond the wedding, ensuring all our guests were comfortable and happy throughout the stay. Il Grande Prato is more than just a venue – it’s a place where dreams come true, thanks to the incredible people there. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting. Herzliche Gastgeber. Wir fühlten uns super wohl und auch unser Hund war überall herzlich willkommen. Das Haus ist super schön und toll eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war sauber, hatte ganz tolle Möbel und ein gemütliches Bett. Eine Klimaanlage und ein Ventilator gab es ebenfalls. Das Haus liegt an einer Straße. Mit geschlossenem Fenstern und Klimaanlage ist hier aber nichts von zu merken. Das Frühstück war super lecker. (Überwiegend süß) Kaffee mit warmer Milch gab es auch. Wurst kam aus eigener Fleischerei. (Ein Haus weiter) Großer Garten vorhanden, haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Chianti-Region, sowie zu wunderschönen Bergdörfern wie San Gimignano und Volterra. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und die Kommunikation war immer schnell, super nett und sehr herzlich. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Anna è gentilissima. Ci ha accolti al nostro arrivo con due bottigliette d’acqua fresca, davvero una premura unica. Amichevole e disponibile. L’alloggio è ben fornito: il bagno nuovissimo e un letto davvero comodo. Carinissima l’idea della colazione in camera, è come una colazione che faresti a casa tua. È stato un bel soggiorno.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was recently renovated and the space was very clean. The views over the Tuscan Hills were truly breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly kind and flex with our late check-in, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely return and highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

Cristina è stata un'host molto gentile e disponibile nonostante le nostre iniziali difficoltà organizzative di check-in. L'appartamento è come in foto, molto bello e la stanza molto spaziosa. La zona in cui si trova è perfetta, molto silenziosa, poco trafficata, a 5 minuti a piedi da Piazza dei Miracoli. Bella sorpresa anche i buoni per fare colazione nei bar vicini.

We loved our stay at Stefano’s place. It was a beautiful room and bathroom and very quiet and peaceful. Air conditioning was very good and very welcome in the heat wave. Gabriella was an attentive host who gave us great recommendations for restaurants. She was also a good cook - breakfast featured delicious cakes! Capannori was a good base to explore the area from. We did day trips to Lavorna and Pisa as well as La Spezia and Cinque Terra. Highly recommend staying at La fornace del Sole.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte il 21 aprile. Siamo stati accolti calorosamente da Clio che ci aveva già inviato un video per arrivare più facilmente alla casa. Ambiente familiare, pulito, host reattivo e disponibile Simpatico anche Brodo, il cagnolino di casa.

It was an amazing experience for us. We stayed with a group of 3 at the place. The home was stylish, nicely decorated and extremely clean and neat. What is very special about our stay is, awesome pasticerries made by a real Italian Chef Mariagrazia. I will strongly recommend her breakfasts and delicious pasticerries. It was a unique experience for us. Thanks a lot, for this warm, kind and delicious experience.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in de accomodatie van Lorenzo. Helaas was onze vlucht verzet waardoor we pas in de avond aankwamen. Dit was geen probleem en we werden warm verwelkomd door Lorenzo. Hij is erg vriendelijk en heeft ons een uitgebreide rondleiding gegeven door de ruimte. We waren de enige die een kamer hadden gehuurd, dus hadden we de gehele accomodatie voor onszelf! Lorenzo reageert snel en is erg behulpzaam. Hij heeft ons tips gegeven om mooie stadjes in de omgeving te bezoeken zoals San Miniato en Montecarlo! De plek is rustig en privé. Het is handig om een auto te hebben om de omgeving te verkennen. In de buurt is een kleine supermarkt. Florence, Pisa en Lucca zijn makkelijk te bereiken met de auto. Lorenzo, bedankt!

Selma and Marco really made our stay the most enjoyable and worth while. They made us feel very welcome in their home, introduced us to their friends and their life in the countryside. She made us a really nice organic breakfast, which was a big plus for us. She showed us which local spots she gets those biological products from and when we visited the makers they definitely gave us a special treatment since we came from Selma and Marco's airbnb ;) We definitely recommend Podere Orzale, and maybe when they finished the pool we will visit again in the future!

It's a gem 💎 and the Edouard's family are so friendly & kind. it's like grandmother house, but refreshing. Every detail is so thoughtful. Maria Livia’s place was fantastic. Spotlessly clean and well-appointed in a beautiful location. Excellent value for money and Maria Livia was a wonderful host. I would happily stay there again.

Rosa was very friendly and she did everything to make our stay perfect. The room was very nice, even better than our expectations, and the breakfast was very good and fulfilling. I definitely recommend booking here.
